Mr and the Mrs are away in the evening but if I can get there in the morning before we leave, I will. -
Well, if you build a stadium from scratch it can be whatever you want it to be, can’t it. Any kind of event, places to eat, drink, innovative club shop, conference space, etc, etc.

Very Brexity reason for keeping him on, but ok.

Good idea. Might be able to help us defend as well.

I mean we need to be patient with EH and take a long term view. One of his biggest strengths is developing players. If we get the club functioning properly e.g. the academy and player trading, he is likely to get us heading in the right direction. Yeah.

Indeed. Patience.

Good. Now we can concentrate on the league. -
Wonder if his excellency will pop to Dubai to make a big throbbing corporate power move.

It’s a podcast which you watch.

I actually completely agree. I remember when he first started playing and those of us who suggested this were labelled as haterz. Bruno works his arse off but he’s not the quickest. Mad that it was ever controversial. He’s also not the strongest but he uses his body as well as anyone IMO. I’ve never seen anyone as good at using their body position to win free kicks. I wish Longstaff would stop trying to copy it
-
The owners have stated on multiple occasions that they are patient, long-term investors, we need to be patient too with this IMO. Howe is extremely good at developing players. Get the recruitment right and the academy working and he will produce the goods. Sometimes circumstances lead to shitty outcomes. This season is one of those cases IMO. Get what we can out of this season, reload and go again with full support.

Yeah. And we know that if they did build a stadium there, there would be absolutely no reconfiguration of routes in and out. It’s a non-starter.

So Mowbray was hugely over performing?

Regular excuse to leave the family at home and have a few beers. Always has been, always will be.
