Everyone is these days. The fans are the only good thing about the club. -
I didn't have RVP last year and I won the company league, how shit must everyone else be

Irrelevant imo, me or you could take the club over and it'd be run better. Your given me far too much credit there I do agree though, i was just saying its not like Southampton are lacking in cash they have very wealthy benefactors backing them. I don't think people realise how much money they have, they are not like Norwich etc etc who are clearly stooping into the TV money they actually have significant cash flow to call upon. Fair one.

Holding my hands up here but I think I muttered "fucking pass it man!" at some point Get him!

The amount of idiots who claimed at the time that "its not that good, he only runs in a straight line" Completely missing the balance required, the split second change of pace to get away from the second tackle and the little chip while running flat out at the end to leave the last defender tackling thin air. The turn, the first touch which sends the bolton player for a paper, the little chip an inch over a defenders foot as he tries to tackle. It's beautiful. I remember screaming the house down when it went in. I remember the forum, was mental. Ended up dedicating a pizza to him and spelling his name out with ham. Watching it made me excited again. pics My bad, it was tomato sauce http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m5/TaylorJ_01/DSCF0062.jpg Sweetcorn

As with most people who say things about football that are completely wrong, it'll be because they've never played, or it was so long ago they can't remember it.

I enjoy controversy if it's fairly normal within the game, but I hate people acting like cunts. Diving, whinging, racisming. Spoils MOTD most weeks IMO, hate the guy so much.

Rangers 1 - 1 Newcastle United - pretend you know how it went from page 18

good post, and as regards the bit in bold his formula for success when we finished 5th was based on little else than ba and cisse scoring goals out of nothing, so yes i'd tend to agree with you Think he's hoping Remy will provide the goals out of nothing/'moments of magic' this year. http://i.qkme.me/3vg5d9.jpg -
He wasn't exceptionally quick or the first player to do it but the player who sticks out most in my mind for this is Bergkamp. Slowing things right down then 'sprinting' past a player to get that extra yard on them, he was very clever at pulling this off considering he wasn't exactly Theo Walcott. Henry took that to the extreme, when he would just stop the ball dead, face up to the defender and then breeze past him

the Bolton goal displayed everything. Initial huge turn and burst of speed, prolonged pace and close control of the ball. That goal man

The team of a man that's watched Newcastle a lot
-
I'm in.

Thumbed 3 Chelsea players in
-
The word 'servant' used to describe a professional footballer man
-
Christ on a bike. Southampton or Swansea maybe.
-
I didn't have any Chelsea players at all ffs, this is gonna ruin my team, and I don't know who he's gonna play
-
I'm glad you mentioned that, back to the drawing board...

always thought ours was more to do with 1985. Beardsley's hat-trick, rather than fighting. the line "the sunderland ran away" should be a clue. anyhoo, there was a vogue for while of having derbies on new years day (to save fans having to travel the length of the country.....makes sense really, todays fixture lists compilers could learn a lot) so manmy clubs will have a song about chasing their local rivals on that day. That makes sense.
-
I thought that initially, but what if he ends up on the left? He'll be doing as much defending/tracking back as HBA and picking the ball up in our half.

I was talking about crucial for Pardew. If nothing looks like it has changed after a few games, then I can see him getting some major stick. I was talking to Brett. I don't think he'll get much stick at all, everyone's got their cheap seats and the expectations have been lowered.
