  1. Got to maintain that negativity somehow. I think he's the type we need tbh, not that I've ever seen him play like, but ya na
  2. There was a lass at Kings Cross on the phone making this argument at the weekend, or more specifically that the game was better to watch because 'they think about it more, and the tackles are still hard but they're more beautiful'.
  3. I want there to be a full challenge system in the premier league like there is in NFL and cricket. I'm not bothered about it 'slowing the game down'. I'd rather wait an extra 30 seconds and get the correct decision. The league is skewed in favour of the rich teams far too much as it is without them being awarded countless dubious decisions over the course of the season and people talking about things evening themselves out.
  4. God, I fucking hated Nicky Butt. The constant attempts at the clever dink over the defence, the free kicks. He was horrid.
  5. Very good? For the Majority? Can't agree with that like. He had his days and occasionally he would put together a 2 or 3 game run where he didn't do something ridiculous, but even when he was solid in defence he was still smashing the ball 60 yards up the pitch and out of touch. You simply can't be a very good premier league defender without a brain. Titus Bramble was a good player. Relatively quick, strong, good in the air. Was capable of some magnificent performances. Always likely to drop a clanger though. Aye, but he wasn't 'very good for the majority of his time here'. Or anything close.

    1 down. 48,999 to go
  7. It's this stuff and a few other snippets that makes me think it's only a matter of time before Cisse goes.
  8. The break in stripes on the front is horrible, as is the patch on the back, but that's nothing new.
  9. but even when he was solid in defence he was still smashing the ball 60 yards up the pitch and out of touch. Used to properly wind me up, that. Probably should say 'into touch'

  11. no, no its not the clear problem is the senile halfwit who's working above him and will replace him if/when pardew gets sacked and if you think anybody else would take over your deluding yourself It's neither, it's Mike Ashley.

    Alan Pardew

If he's got the power to sack Pardew he's proving his incompetence as a DOF with every passing day. do you want JFK as manager? because the moment Pardew is sacked thats whats going to happen I genuinely don't think the results would differ that much, it might be funnier though. So yeah, for the sake of getting some sort of enjoyment out of a match day, JFK in.

I really like the side of the neck as a location for tattoos, but I would never get one for that reason. Even in quite liberal fields/workplaces, I'm sure you'd miss out on a load of jobs because of it. It's a big commitment to have a visible tattoo. I don't want to come across as thinking I'm wise or anything but I see so many people with tattoos behind their ear and I look at the rest of them and see nothing, just doesn't make sense to me and it's quite obvious they just want something visible all the time. You should start with one dead easy to cover up imo, see if you feel comfortable with the fact that your body's changed, see if you have any issues because of it, if you consider covering it up for a job interview for example, why would you get one that you can't cover up? p.s. not aimed at you Aye, I totally agree with you, that's why I would never get one. I do think the neck is a good location in terms of how it looks as a design. True, it can look great when done well.

I've got tattoos but I'd never have any that I couldn't cover up with a long sleeved shirt and pants. You simply never know what direction your life is going to take and you might regret the one that you can't cover up. The other half has got loads more than me like but only one that's always visible, on her ear. One of my pet hates is people getting tattoos in a place like their neck before they've got any others and lived with them for a bit.

Bit worried these bids for Gomis and Remy mean he's leaving. I'll be really surprised if we go a whole season with 3 competent strikers.

Just a forlorn hope that if he runs out of people that he trusts he'll f*** off quicker. He'll only f*** off if somebody wants to buy the club off him, presumably at a tidy profit. In that scenario, in all likelihood, Kinnear will go back to the DoF role and appoint the new manager. God help us if that ever happens. You're probably right, I hope that he's continuing to take money out of the club to repay his loan. The more he does that, the less the price will be. My hope is that Pardew goes, Kinnear gets the job, sacks it off again because he's ill and then Mike sells for slightly less than he was planning just to get rid. I just rather Pardew put in a decent performance. Aye I'd take that. As for the others, just staying away from the games and not putting money isn't going to 'provoke' anything imo, apart from a feeling that the club will bring in substantially less money while he's here. Most of the money comes from TV I suppose. Ashley has us over a barrel. I've really no idea what the solution is we just have to hope for a lucky break lest a Marxist revolution breaks out on Tyneside and somehow the fans come into ownership of the club. The reality is - we'll take it on the chin time and time again because as much as he's dulled the culture it would take a real tyrant to kill it. You might, I've wiped my chin clean and I'm pursuing a career in modelling.
