I know De Jong's an international and is coming off the back of a great season; but he's still only 21. We might not see him as an immediate starter. Whether he would accept something like that remains to be seen, particularly if he has other offers on the table. I just don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility that we're after another 'big-name' striker to go with what we've got. It's not mate, people are assuming that Ashley is going to be true to form in the face of overwhelming evidence that you just can't predict what the man's gonna do. Bidding for De Jong could well mean that Ba is off, but there's equally as much chance of us having both on the books next season imo.

Always saw Agbonlahor as the type of player/person who will never be comfortable being away from their home town. I just can't seeing him being anywhere else other than the West Midlands. He's not really looked that comfortable in our team in recent years. I lot of Villa fans wouldn't be at all bothered to see him go. Career is stagnated to a holt, maybe a move would be best for both parties in this instance holte

AVB can fuck right off and take his 'honestly I'm dead old and wise' gravel voice with him. So fucking fake.

Fair point, just never seen that much from Wellbeck to be excited about, horses for courses I guess, Carroll might be a better impact sub. -

I'd drop Wellbeck personally, Rooney off Carroll. -

Remember lads, we should be thankful to Wireside for warning us all about signing this guy. Such foresight. Fucking bell end. -
I know England will still be average but the team would be so much improved with Rooney back, really missing someone to link things up at the front.

Mark Lawrenson makes my skin crawl.

Married today, congrats Raylor.

I like it, is there a big blank patch on the back again?

Was hoping Di Matteo would get the job, nailed on failure, which sounds really odd given he just won the champions league.
-
Was desperate for him to come on, had a flutter on France 2-1 and him to score last.

Looks a lovely player.

Pretty much confirms we're in for him if you ask me.
-
He's said absolutely nothing wrong there like.

Carr's undoubtedly got nufc's best interests at heart. It's not often I get to say I told you so but there was no way he was ever going to leave his hometown club at his age, considering his success.

to think I was advocating giving him a new contract after the first derby of last season, woops
-
Much like Martinez I guess he could be a success if they gave him time but as others have said I just can't see it happening. I certainly don't see them as a threat to us next season, which is good enough for me.

stand to win 1800 quid if it's o'neill

You want Cisse to play wide left? Cisse? please tell me your joking Cisse and Gamiero wouldnt compliment each other as they are very similar..... both are finishers, both are quick and slight both are CF's both have no place outwide. Never said that. More the fact that it may be in APs thinking... Yeah, he may be thinking about using Krul on the left as well. Or you as a comedian. Equally ludicrous Yeah! Or me as a comedian! Lol!
