  1. ....until he had the back problem, he's had a couple of muscle strains in his upper legs since. The fact that he never got such strains before the back problem is a concern, that's all I'm saying.
  2. I thought it was common knowledge that back problems could lead to problems in your legs
  3. I was half expecting this sentence to end like this:
  4. I might retain a flicker of excitement about 4th if Colo was fit, pretty much no chance without him.
  5. Santon's got a big future, he's gonna be able to play full back or wide on either side and he's a really tidy player.
  6. I hope not, I thought Guthrie stuck out like a sore thumb, wants far too much time in the middle of the pitch and gets caught time and time again.
  7. Top post, particularly the bolded bit, De Jong's a fucking cunt, that tackle was meant to hurt Hatem.
  8. I mentioned the back thing a few pages back, it's a concern for sure as that came first followed by the strains. Hamstrings in particular are much more vulnerable to injury when your back's not right.

Against Liverpool he'll get a free pass from me. I think it's unfair to judge a team harshly when your entire central defence is missing and you are playing a right back there. As to swingometers I really don't think Newcastle fans are that dumb. For me it's always been about seeing the players set up in the right way to make the most of their talent and yesterday was just that. We looked like a quality football team playing modern day football intelligently. Results can go either way but if the team is well organised that's all you can ask of a manager. Yep, credit was given for the first 15 mins against Norwich and criticism for the rest, credit is given for the whole game yesterday. It's not about swinging from one extreme from the next, it's being consistent in what you expect to see from the team i.e. a coherent game plan that suits our players and the way we need to approach the game.

Honestly man, you cry out for our players to be deployed in a system and with intent that suits them, and when it happens and we blow a team away and we're all happy people make posts alluding to us being fickle and changing our minds
  11. you'd be amazed at how many in the pub were saying he was offside. looked it in real time, definitely on though
  12. I'd like to see him at the Euro's, would be great for his confidence and bodes well for him staying here long term.
  13. Yeah, he's absolutely disgusting.
  14. Oh. I'd still like to hear it!
  15. I'd like to hear the explanation for why he wasn't booked for that.
  16. I think it's a good formation because we have the right players for it
  17. All completely justified

I see O' Shea's fucked now as well, great signings him and Brown.
  19. official site: bless him
  20. Ryder reckons Tiote is fit....... i know but if hes right and theres a first time for everything then i would expect Guthrie to make way. Either way for some reason 3 names in midfield makes me feel more confident i dont know why lol.... The magic of 4-3-3 Yeah I realised my mistake a few seconds after posting and edited

This season will be the closest they'll finish behind us for a while, and it could well be over 10 points. Our squad's been steadily improving for some time, they've got Martin O'Neill in charge of transfers
  22. Think we'll see Krul Simpson Williamson Perch Santon Tiote Jonas Cabaye Ben Arfa Ba Cisse
