Taylor has surpassed him - probably due to his performances whilst Willo was out at the end of last season if only it were performance based. Pardew just put Taylor in instead of Williamson when he got the job because he assumed he was better for the team., even though he'd 'watched all the games'. In Ba's defence it seemed like every time we broke he made a run off the shoulder of a defender and we just kept choosing the easy option into Shola's feet. Someone further forward in midfield would help the link up play

No not ideal, but a little harsh to say it isn't a great start to the season, when he could still make a huge impact coming off the bench for the first few games. Being sceptical is fine, we certainly should be, I just don't see that Pardew should be vilified for saying those things when there is little else he can say. It's down to the board in the end as always. he shouldnt be vilified, he should be recognised for what he is. an average manager taken on by people who's motives are money related and nothing to do with football, with the understanding that he has no say in who comes or goes. he speaks on their behalf and picks the team,and i guarantee you 50% of the members of this board could do just as good a job.

Why I am entitled to my opinion am I not ? and in MY opinion the money was a big factor in his move to Liverpool, I may be wrong the same as your opinion on the deal may be wrong. of course you're entitled, i just seems in every thread about a player leaving or possibly leaving you'll consider any possibility other than we're being run by a bunch of small timers and our quality players want and deserve better. i'd leave for a club with ambition as well, more money would simply be a consequence.
