just been back on 5 live saying the majority of people who criticise his style of play have ever seen any of his teams
-
him and gervinho both trying it on for higher wages?
-
i'd be more pleased if he stayed
-
just interviewed on 5 live, what a tit. interviewer asked him about footballing style and he replies with a list of flair players he had at bolton and finished with 'we played that particular way did we?' then in the next breath starts saying that west ham will play the way they need to relating to how good the players are and that everyone needs to accept that they've been relegated etc etc utter charlatan.
-
wouldnt be surprised at all, they'll be trying to get the best out of carroll and think that copying what we did this season may go some way towards it. joey may be an everton fan but he's not exactly a conventional person is he.
-
if we have been in touch i would hope it's as a very last resort
-
your to technical for me lol think ive upset mr admin, he's changed my username and avatar. I feel special. you've got to be an alias

joint top scorer last season?
-
distinctly remember seeing some bloke with andy cole on his calf a week after we sold him like, in the chron i think
-
he'd be great as the point of a 4-3-3 imo, bringing others into the game, especially if the other 2 were pacy players with good control/decent finishing. still, i'll be utterly staggered if we sign him for a number of reasons
-
a na mate, considering the build up started on the last day of january

Our best player this season. collocini imo, barton had a few absolute stinkers
-
fair do's like, only seen him play once and that was ages ago, all i remember is his class hair.
-
imagine how pissed off the scots would be if we signed the EPL joint top scorer
-
4-3-3 with Ben Arfa left would entail him drifting inside and supporting a striker. Kinda similar really. true, but it's not enough to draw the conclusion from that we'll be playing that system. with the players we've been linked with it could just as easily be 4-4-2 i think?
-
btw, it seems to be a pretty widely accepted thought on the site now that we're gonna be playing 4-3-3 next season. why is this? all i've heard pardew mention is that he thinks ben arfa would play best off a striker?
-
because other clubs could come in and offer him better terms?
-
hmm, not convinced allardyce would take it, surely he'd know he's finished if he doesnt bring them up?
-
Yup. That's what I thought. So probably we will get one of them within a few days. Or Gameiro turns us down and Gervinho, realises he was secong choice and also turns us down. The Pards turns to Carlton Cole. yep
-
anyone else a bit worried that the journal seems to think we've got gervinho on the 'back burner' in case gameiro goes to valencia? (which is being widely reported as his preferred option). it reeks of getting neither to me.

I honestly don't think many have the money. Our January windfall has given us a budget disproportionate to our level, similar to Everton getting the money for Rodwell. The most Arsenal have ever spent on a player is only a few more million than this. How much do you think we'd have spent (net) without selling Carroll? Anything? Nothing most likely. more likely to be about 5-10m net spend i reckon, however the carroll money has given ashley an opportunity to make the club progress without any 'capital outlay' and taken the opportunity imo.

Same, I like Titus even if he is playing for that lot what on earth is there to like about titus bramble? he's a terrible footballer and absolute mug
