i'm putting that down to playing down expectation. really no-one can say until he's in full training. if pre-season starts and he's nowhere to be seen, that's the time to worry.

for all our injury woes we're still gonna be fielding nigh on our first choice defensive line up, i think that will be enough to build on. rea; shame we're missing jonas like but i think the youngsters could do their fair share of running

let's hope he's alright to start pre-season as normal with the rest of the squad, it's gonna be even harder work if he's playing catch up all season.

I think this season's been great. Just because there hasn't been one outstanding team I don't think it's been poor. Hopefully people are starting to realise the big teams aren't unbeatable. Exactly, anything that represents even the slightest balancing out of the league is a very good thing. strongly agree

thought about this for a bit.....given the whole point of n'zogbia going to wigan was to 1. get away from our club 2. play well and earn a move to a bigger club. i cant see him coming back here with seemingly so many options.

Here's a tip: don't sell them in the first place. of course, given the mentality of our board what comes after the bit you've highlighted is 'and once they prove they're worth it you have to pay them properly. so we sell them and start all over again'

Doesn't sound very confident, and i think we need more than 4 players. well it's down to quality isnt it, 4 players going straight into the first team would be great imo. i believe you have to do these things gradually as its best for the squad.
