  1. ssn saying keegan owes 2m if he walks, ashley owes 2m if kk is sacked
  2. how mad is it that the council are getting involved? when i started reading it i thought it was gonna be along the lines of, either way, sort it, coz its un-safe having angry people knocking around the ground etc. not the council actually pleading ashley to do all he can to keep keegan in the job. top lads though, nice one.
  3. i thought the general consensus was he didnt care what people thought of him?
  4. Absolute codswallop. Have to agree. If people think Keegan is skint after plowing 3m in to his soccer circus they're mad. After a distinguished carreer as a pro footballer he has been manager of Newcastle, Fulham, England and Man C (and then again us). I seriously doubt he doesn't have substancial savings elsewhere or he wouldn't have invested so much into the circus project in the first place. no no no, dont you realise, when anyone invests in anything, they put every single last penny of their life savings into it, even when they have co-investors like mohammed al fayed. bottom line, KEEGAN IS SKINT. Are you his bank manager? How the f*** do you know? f***ing common sense? I know soccer circus isn't going great but I highly doubt he is skint although I can't say for sure, but I'd say there's mroe chance of him not being skint than being skint, you wrote it as fact, which you cannot possibly know. haha, i wrote it as fact? are you a lawyer? i was taking the piss, chill out.
  5. am i right in thinking we're due an update from the LMA this afternoon?

  8. as others have said, getting your players to play well together is the hardest, and therefore most important attribute, thats what he offers to us. they're dispensable, he isnt. No one who is doing a good job for Newcastle is dispensable unless they've done something out of order. i thought that went without saying tbh
  9. as others have said, getting your players to play well together is the hardest, and therefore most important attribute, thats what he offers to us. they're dispensable, he isnt. if ashleys gonna continue with the long term plan then there isnt a better man than keegan as he'll get pretty much any players playing, once you give him good players he can do wonders.
  10. Wow you're really passionate about that one, aren't you ? haha, aye, i should probably just turn it off tbh. its like crack, you know its poisoning you but you cant stop.
  11. why the fuck do they keep bringing up this 'not at training' thing, now saying if he's not there tomorrow then its gonna mean something serious....THEY'VE SAID IN THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT THAT DISCUSSIONS ARE ON GOING, IS HE SUPPOSED TO TAKE TRAINING AND BE ON THE PHONE TO THEM AT THE SAME TIME!?
  12. me too, perhaps with charlie at LB
  13. I just hope there's not a load of idiots protesting against the board or anything stupid like that. The last thing we need on the TV is 'Ashley Owt' banners and shit like that. It's inevitable now, even if he stays. i think i well worded statement from both parties might calm things down
  14. That's fine for the fans and the press but KK has to go into more detail with the players themselves. It would be impossible for him not to. i think you just have to trust him to do the right thing, he will.
  15. :celb:lovely laid keegan yesterday for neally a 1000, wish id managed to get some of the 90/1 on curbs being out next. thats quite a result, i spread the profit on everyone after the nufc statement last night so i haven't made loads, but some. do you trade on games in play?
  16. and bang, here comes my betfair money
  17. exactly, and he can do this because he's such a good manager. if he was shit, would any of us give a fuck? would there be a 122 page thread on it in a day and a half? would anyone have been protesting outside the ground? (radgies or not). no, if he was crap the general consensus would have been, ok, next, and he'd be gone. its the fact that he's such a good manager, and that he's so right for nufc that he's able to stand up for his principles, and good on him i say. there's not enough people willing to put principles high on their list of importance these days, especially in football.
  18. my dad said to me recently 'when i was your age i used to think i'd be 60 before i saw us win anything, now i think i'll be dead'
  19. praying they all sort out their differences like, i like the direction ashley's taking us and my support for keegan will never change
  20. i should bloody hope he's not taking training, he's got more important things to do at the minute
  21. and if he's going to walk out over milner, smith and barton you have to question him. thats bloody ridiculous, if this is the issue he's not walking because of the quality/lack of quality of the players, he's walking because of the principle that players shouldnt be sold without his consent, i'd like to hear a convincing argument that this should be the case It costs the club money to keep the likes of Smith here on 60k a week. That's not a principle it's a bill. yeah you're right, thats not a principle, its a weekly wage, so you've confused two issues. one is who should be in charge of who leaves and doesnt leave the club, the second is how much should we pay those coming in. keegan certainly wasnt responsible for the second in the case of smith, but he obviously wants to be in charge of the first, and i agree with him, i'm yet to hear a convincing argument otherwise, would you like to provide one?
