Regardless, its about setting standards which are acceptable at our football club. I don't think that will happen but it wouldn't be because we sacked him, it would be because he did it in the first place. congratulations, that's one of the stupidest things i've ever witnessed.

passing it out from the back? i got taught that when i was about 8 You got taught that our 2009-10 squad was better suited to playing football on the deck when you were 8? Explains a fair bit. no. i take your point, the fact that certain squads are better suited to certain ways of playing isnt lost on me. however, we have the best footballers in the league. not to mention two good footballing full backs. it should be obvious that we play out from the back. you dont get any special points for 'having it sussed by october'.

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll

Think that's a bit much. There have been training ground bustups since time immemorial, young men with too much money and big egos playing in a business where their careers are short and passions run high. FFS, I've had heated arguments with people on my 5-a-side team, it's just a part of football. Obviously it never comes to blows, but the A-Train and S Taylor are both nob heads, let's face it. Nothing to do with 'lily-livered liberals™' or 'political correctness gone mad®'. You're right about the effects though, it's the clulb/fans that will suffer. Sorry, but its EVERYTHING to do with 'lily-livered libs/political correctness' ; there is a general view among both lawmakers and Social services that a wrong-doer must have had a 'bad time', and therefore deserves 'compassion and rehabilitation', even when its blatantly obvious that the idiot concerned is simply mad, bad or acts like a spoilt child. i think you'll find those theories tend to filter down from 'psychologists', who do a bit of research on 'mad, bad' people. -
he doesnt need rejuvenating, he's scoring for fun. he just needs to stop hitting people. Wey, thats what I mean by rejuvenation. haha, ok mate. what a shitter though, i was actually starting to warm to him, i'd even forgiven him for that man city substitute 'performance'.

discovered some interesting facts yesterday. their is roughly 750,000 words in the english language (when you take into account various word meanings, compound nouns etc) the average educated person has a vocabulary of 30,000 words you need a vocabulary of around 800 words to read The Sun

Was thinking the same thing. What can I say, I've ran into the lad a few times and he's a complete c***. My cousin knows him and say's he's thick as mince too. for what it's worth, you're both right yes he's a bit of a tosser but how many think it's ok to brake someones jaw because they behave a bit of a tosser. drop the hardman talk and it's just not done, except by twats. i don't think the broken jaw is the issue, although people seem to be making a lot of it. if you're gonna say violence is wrong then you have to say all of it is wrong, no matter how minor or major the injuries are. what it really comes down to is who assaulted who first, there's your culprit. the vast majority of us will never know. i don't care as long as we keep winning. i care because i don't want twats of the hgihest order representing us. yes it comes down to who assaulted who first but given carrolls previous if it turns out it was him he should be sacked (and i still think if he's convicted of his previous he should be sacked or at least sold) it's a noble sentiment, but hankering after a team of morally pure players is futile imo, it's never gonna happen. none of them are at the club because they're nice lads, they're at the club because they can (supposedly) play football. Carrol's previous doesn't do him any favours like, but it's not outside the realms of possibility that Taylor threw the first punch and Carrol responded and subsequently broke his jaw. would that be Taylors fault? i think so. as i've said being a t*** is one thing...being a violent t*** is too far. fair enough man

Guthrie really needs to tighten up his passing, so many times he's under no pressure and either over or under hits it. nice to seem him so involved though, credit where it's due. -
If it was that kit with no panel on the back, we'd be pretty close to perfect! yeah i'd actually buy that, i haven't bothered with the last two coz they've both been wank.

Go figure. I read somewhere our games are up there in the most watched for SKY. We are pulling more viewers in for SKY than most PL games but there outlay is a hell of a lot less for our games. Sky would be bonkers not to show our games they are getting a f***ing bargain. I think we are still the most watched team outside of the top 4 (Liverpool, Man United, Arsenal and Chelsea) on Sky. why on earth is that? we've been bloody awful on telly this year, with maybe the exception of derby at home. are they all just tuning in to watch us lose?

You think we never take to southerners? What about Rob Lee or David Kelly or Kevin Keegan or Hughton, who's name we've sang to the heaven's? It's not that we don't trust southerners, more that we don't tolerate complete ineptitude wherever it originates. look how many people have said that only a Geordie should manage NUFC INCLUDING Shepherd. but he's a fucking idiot. don't base anything on his patter.

Are you serious ? Don't get me wrong, Shearer is of course a legend but he is a s**** pundit all he does is state the obvious, however hi isn't a w***** which does give him brownie points, unlike Andy Gray who is a w***** and loves the big 4. I agree, with those that say Desaily is a good pundit, imo, he is likeable and gives good analysis. He is possibly the best one one telly. I would also like to put forward Bob Moncur, ofcourse he is likeable because of what he has done for our club and he gives good analysis. I think I just find him less hateable then others. Pretty much all pundits do is state the obvious, Andy Gray is the only one that does any sort of proper analysis. For some reason we have hardly any opinionated pundits, everyone says the same thing. Would much rather have pundits that actually say "Player X is shit," Merson sometimes does this but he can't speak properly. In conclusion, bring back Rodney Marsh. well thats the unfortunate thing about them having to appear impartial. i actually thought for a few days about setting up some sort of website where you could stream proper opinionated commentary for people to listen to while they were watching games. so instead of hearing (for the thousandth time) 'oh and drogba's down again, and you're just never quite sure with him if there's anything wrong' you'd hear 'and down goes drogba, again, and we all know there's absolutely nothing wrong with him. get the fuck up didier, you're not injured. we know that, all you're doing is embarassing yourself you complete wanker'.

Bendtner is fucking shit.

seemed beyond coincidental that the first game after van aanholt leaves he's fit enough to start a game rather than be brought on for 30 mins or so.
