be interesting to hear what people's opinions are on who'll be next through the door, anyone got a hunch?
-
this stuff about him being 'gash upfront last season aswell'. slightly mis-leading i think, at the time he was coming back from a very long lay off and looked un-fit and rusty. if i remember rightly though he started to look much much sharper a couple of games before he was dropped behind the strikers, was spurs his first game there? i've got a feeling it was reading when he started to look like himself.

dont worry guys there's nothing i know that you dont, all i was doing was giving the evidence for why i started saying anything in the first place, which i cant post up here as it'd make the restaraunt look bad if i did. the only info we were given afterwwards is that it was some medical work going on with lua lua. -

haha, i'm not gonna pm everyone. suffice to say that if i'd got any really interesting info i would have posted it last night. -
I think he'll sign, actually. Pretty confident about it too. i hope you're right mate, i wonder if he's holding on for a five year deal or something like that

sweeeeeet -
if its bollocks its a creative excuse, i'll give him that. actually i might start booking tables in other cities and using the same excuse for cancelling them myself, saying i work for different clubs
-
his girlfriend's working in there tonight so we've asked her to try get any info out of them she can, while remaining professional, ha. for the record it was an e mail of booking confirmation and it wasnt 'i am the club doctor' it was 'my friend is the club doctor and has to travel somewhere to conduct the medical therefore wont be in attendance'. i'm off to the pub with him now, if we find out anything i'll post from my phone.
-
but, stoke? eh?
-
i'm completely bemused by all of this, until collocini signs he's our best centre half ffs
-
no disrespect like, and I do not think you are bullshitting.... but any chance your mate can find out who said player is? or is it top secret stuff? nah there'd be no way, basically the reason he got the info is because he co runs a restauraunt and a booking for tonight went from 3 to 2, and the reason that was given is because one of the people that was supposed to be coming is the nufc club doctor and he's conducting the medical. we both agreed it seemed odd that the person would even give a reason, but there you go, just passing on info.
-
i'm not sure if this info's already been posted but i'll put it up here anyway, as my friend's registered here but i'm not sure if he ever posts, if he's reading, hi stu. he has it on good authority that one of our club doctors is over seeing a medical examination tonight, i'm not normally itk, he just came across this information by chance but it seemed credible, make of it what you will.

by 'do such a thing' do you mean play him in midfield? By do such a thing I mean buy a class defender (which we need to begin with) to play in midfield yes. i see, but if it worked, and the team were better for it, would that be so bad? thats all i'm asking. -

time will tell, i imagine a lot of people would have had the same reaction if you'd told them keegan would play owen behind the front two, whatever works is good for me. -
Yup. In fact although I'm pissed off the Jonas and Coloccini situations look like they'll be unresolved, Owen, Martins and Viduka will be missing and we'll be going into the game with a generally crap side, our season starts against Bolton. We were always going to lose at Old Trafford, so I'm not going to lose too much sleep over it. dave, genuine question here given our 'stances' during the summer; what do you think of the clubs "performance" with colo & guti? what i'm getting at is that i can't think of another club, perhaps granted there aren't that many of them as you don't tire of pointing out, who have transfers dragging on like we do in fact the villa transfer of shorey/young is a right slap in the face for the "transfers don't happen overnight crowd" - so what's going wrong with us then? I've said before I think the Jonas thing is a bit of a joke and that we should have seen some definitive action taken/answers given by now. However, I'm not going to beat up on the club about it because I just don't know the details. This is even more the case with Coloccini. There's a bit of a difference between signing players from different countries/leagues too btw. you just can't do it can you? take the step to say maybe somethings not perfect in mikes magical wonderland if neither of those two play sunday there's no other conclusion than they've made a total cunt of both deals if they do both play then what's with not confirming the deals? Complete bullshit of NE5 proportions. End of conversation. why bring me into it ? Still continuing your stupid agenda with people that disagree with you ? Compared to me, you're just a bairn Dave. haha, oh the irony cant we all just get along? http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/javaImages/91/2b/0,,10278~3746705,00.gif

i did my level 1 badge three weeks ago, went for the intensive week long course at northumberland fa in benton, right next to the nufc training ground actually. I really enjoyed it, the guy teaching was great at his job, very friendly and had a lot of experience for someone so young i thought. its fairly simple stuff but just gets you in the mindset of how to deal with youngsters. i'd recommend it to anyone that fancies it really. I'm starting some coaching for north shields fc in september, i used to play for them when i was younger so i've come full circle really, good stuff.
