invariably gets into a position to score at least once even if he's only got ten minutes to do it, a bit more composure and time on the pitch and he could be pretty reliable.

People are complaining that we let a side, who've lost three on the bounce, not scored in four, just play out their game when they were down to ten men - showing no attempt to attack them until the last ten/fifteen minutes. This whole thing about us 'demanding' victories is a fucking myth. No one sees it as a given right, people would just rather we attempted to go for it a bit more often, which is absolutely fair enough. this, all we're asking for is evidence of testicles.

The second yellow was very soft, I'd be gutted if we had lost a player for that, still, we needed it. regardless of the challenge if i was the ref i'd send him off for being such a stupid cunt, pulling back a player when there's cover five yards away and you're already on a yellow. i'd be kicking his arse all the way off the pitch if i was pearson.

would you not say the two were linked though? i take your point. perhaps there is a direct link in price as far as if other teams are aware of our interest it could start a bidding war etc. however the end result is the main concern, not how you get there imo. i realise the last week or so has been like a breath of fresh air and i'm all for a bit of positivity, but i think this is just trying to find things to praise ashley for after having literally nothing to go on.
