  1. i was just gonna say, i was enjoying looking at those pics until i saw him
  2. that'd be officially the end of my social life, but i'm all for it
  3. nice one mate glad to hear it, who you sitting with this season then? Singing section, ideally wanted to be in Leazes/Gallowgate but the other lads fancied giving this a try. Plus I wont get some grouchy old fart in front of me whinging when I'm going mental! Yourself? still in the gallowgate mate, moved a few rows forward to get two seats together with me pa. i'll come and meet you lot for a drink before the match some time, definitely gonna go on as many away trips as i can afford this year too.

  5. missed this one, but its spot on based on what we've seen so far. Quite amazing how some people continue to choose not to recognise it just because it means ackonwledging the old board actually did something right and soopa Mike might not be so soopa after all. We can't quite hear the sound of pennies dropping just yet ........ thats simply not true, some people are optimistic whatever happens, its in their nature. thats one of the most obsessed comments i've seen from you in a while.
  6. Hope I get my bloody phone call soon like!!! they were true to their word with me mate. are you moving? i was down as a mover and she said if i hadnt heard from them by monday to give them a ring
  7. just got a phone call from the box office, got two seats together just a few rows infront of where i sit now, :frantic:
  8. no problem with this signing at all, young, potential, plays in a position where we need bodies, low transfer fee.
  9. mine still isnt even sorted mate, spoke to the box office yesterday and they said they were sorting the movers this week, so allowing for delays and fuck ups i'd say maybe the week after next
  10. i am definitely fucking renewing, i'm definitely getting an extra seat for my dad to sit next to me, and i'm DEFINITELY gonna be there to support the lads and have a good fucking time doing it, and its going to be worth every hard earned fucking penny.
  11. Wasnt that tradition only started in the Robson years? Cant recall Keegan doing it in his first stint here. Could be wrong though. keegan talks about training on the beach when he was a player in his book
  12. i'm hoping KK takes the lads to longsands, its a minutes walk from my house and i always enjoy going to watch them train, was fucking pissed off when allardyce didnt do it last year. reckon KK will, he's old skool.
  13. Because Intermedia never said that we approached them. Does the "approached by a third party" make it 100% false then? The third party could be Freddy Shepherd trying to buy the club back as far as we know. how many times are we gonna have to say that i wonder?
  14. surely he's not gonna move here to sit on the bench?
  15. Front page of the Sun tomorrow 'Hitlers In Toon' - Infamous Nazi dictator is back from the dead and has vowed to make Nufc Premier League champions when he takes the reigns at SJP. Some clueless cunts would believe it.
  16. Apart from an private equity firm that deals in sports (mainly broadcasting) saying they were approached, there is no proof what so ever. Had you heard of said media firm before Friday? Lets say they want to move into the British market. What better way to get your name into the mainstream press than talks over 'buying' a football club? Even if Ashley denies it (again), their aim is accomplished Yep, to quote the BBC article: It is not known who made the approach to InterMedia. There are many other people who might approach InterMedia about this and not be a club employee. Someone perhaps who wants to buy us but needs the money. Good of you to repeat the point I made about 15 posts ago (but without the patronising use of large fonts). Thanks i made that point about 3 pages ago
  17. Surely not! Ashley´s s*** smells of roses don´t you know..? learn from NE5's mistakes, even if he wont, pouncing on a vague quote like this only reduces the well put points of your argument as you begin to sound like someone with a grudge or agenda Vague? What's vague about it? could have been approached by anyone, doesnt have to be nufc, co-investors looking for a partner, someone looking for funding, anyone./b] Someone offered them Newcastle United. Whether it was Ashley or someone on his behalf. Deal with it. 'I believe virtually everything I read, and I think that is what makes me more of a selective human than someone who doesn't believe anything.' David St Hubbins

  20. could have been approached by anyone, doesnt have to be nufc, co-investors looking for a partner, someone looking for funding, anyone.
  21. Ashley had to pay a 45 million of the debt off, as it was linked to Fred being at the club & when Fred left it had to be paid within 60. The rest was paid off to save negative interest being paid on it. how much did fred take with him when he left?
  22. I'm sure Sheryl would disagree. out of genuine interest, was he tried and found guilty of that?
  23. if he wanted to sell it he could sell it tomorrow. there's so many people wanting in on football now it really wouldnt be difficult. just ignore the specualtion, especially this kind, it hasnt told us anything any person capable of reason doesnt already know, ashley would sell for the right price, no shit sherlock, who wouldnt.
