But he is by far our most dangerous player... no debate. He's hugely inconsistant, gets injured frequently and hasn't got a good footballing brain. His pace makes him dangerous but he doesn't even use that properly most of the time. Bent is a much better striker. Put him one on one with a 'keeper and he'll find the net, put Martins on that same position and he'll find row J. How many times have you seen Martins do that, actually? (As far as I can remember, he's finished most of the 1v1s he got himself in) And by the same token I suppose Owen is also a better striker than Martins? Take Martins out of the team and we're consistently shite. Surely the fact that we've won only 2 matches in 27 PL matches without him speaks for itself?

What happens if N'Zogbia is still here at the end of the window?

i'm beginning to agree that his beast position could well be right back with a capability to cover centre half. as much as i like beye ,taylor wa as good as beye has been this season in that position whilst I agree he has been as good as Beye at right back this season he doesn`t have the same influence. With Beye at the back we kept clean sheets and had more confidence in defence. Depends on what you want from an RB. Taylor doesn't hold a candle to Beye's defensive ability.

I'm sorry but how could you give Jonas 8? Yeah he ran well then ended up fucking up the pass every single time. Its nice to see himskinning players but it never amounted to anything His attacking play may not have amounted to much but you've got to give him credit for the shift he pulled in helping out the defence.

We've had some pretty shite players in there before, but no.

So does Butt. Looked pretty average to me, but lets hope he does better when he has someone better than Butt next to him.
