I'm going to tell myself even if we win he's out the door. So let's just have fun. A stark cry from my 'I want him nowhere near this occasion' stance earlier in the week. But needs must.

When was the last time Woodgate gave enough fucks to know/talk about the goings on of NUFC?
-
Seems like it from reports.
-
At least all the shite PFMs know it just takes desperately clinging on to your career for 1000 games to make it in.
-
Thanks for leading the celebration for us, Spurs.
-
I would like to re-iterate that I know it would end in tears. I still can't help but dream of it, though.

Would be hilarious if it turned out they decided let him make a rod for his own back. Leave him go full heel on everyone today and then announce such an attitude won't be tolerated and he's now suspended until further notice.

How about a rendition of 'cheer up Stevie Bruce'? And/or 'You fake Geordie bastard get out of our club'?
-
It really does have to be self-sabotage at this point, doesn't it? Will probably stick Fraser in goal on Sunday at this rate.

Dear God the thought of KK being the man to get us that first trophy would make me slightly tempted to give it a shot despite knowing it'd end in tears.

Forget sitting in silence if he gets any kind of presentation for his 1,000th game. Who's up for turning their backs?
-
At least he's kept his respect and dignity, though.

I really think this is just an anomaly. There's no structure in place at the club with football people to make decisions. Obviously they're going to want involvement in who decision-making is being delegated out to. Once that's done the structure should be in place where they're given the parameters to work within and get on with it.

But he's a big boy and can take it.

Fair enough. Who are we to stand in the way of his paddle tennis dream?

Sounds like poor Amanda's had a stroke. Love the brazenness of it, though. 'we've not been able to find owt better yet so bear with him please'.
-
I'd give Gerrard a shot. It's a risk that I think at best pays off massively if he can make the step up in the PL. At worst, you'd like to think we're not getting relegated and can regroup accordingly if he's underwhelming.

Can someone please explain to me how this three year rolling nonsense works? Surely it can't be a case of a deadline has passed for stopping the rollover and he's now under contract forever unless paid off? When I first read it I assumed it meant that if the rollover is triggered, he'd get another three years by default. Also, does this mean Ashley's triggered something as a final fuck you? Because why would the rollover be in place already when he's still got most of the final season to go on the initial agreed three years? What am I missing?

Bacon though lol lovely man

New owners make no moves a week in to their tenure, even allowing a literal lump of shit continue as manager, because they don't want to make make any brash decisions. Paul Merson: 'THIS ISN'T FOOTBALL MANAGER FOLKS!!!!'
-
Said it before but I'd honestly much rather everyone just sits in silence. Would make him feel so small to hear crickets in a crowd of 52,000 people.

Raheem Sterling: Man City forward open to move abroad if he does not get more game time Let's ignore the wanting to move abroad nonsense and get it done.

https://true-faith.co.uk/steve-bruce-subject-of-housing-protest-outside-st-james-park/ Thank God he doesn't conduct his landlord work in front of a camera, eh. How much worse would this have been.
-
Yup. Forgot that one. No coincidence the main target of his ire seems to have become Lee bloody Ryder. I'm not a fan by all means but it's ironically for the reason that Bruce should love him; he's the most nothing journalist about.

He's shown enough times that he's not a nice guy, from being slumlord, to consistently rival-hopping, to binning off a club that bent over backwards to accommodate him at the first sign of a slightly better situation, to goading the fans of the club he claims to 'support' for two straight years. Being good craic over a beer or a bacon sarnie for the right people doesn't make you a nice bloke. It always seems to be a select type of person with direct experience of him that claim this nice bloke stuff. Strangely, they all tally up as being people within football in some form or other, who conveniently can do his bidding when he starts getting flak from the fans.
