Even so, I wouldn't be surprised if the loyalty would allow them to meet somewhere in the middle. But that's this club all over; they either threw the £15k offer down and said take or leave it or he had to fight just to get them up to that amount. No need for the takeover, Mike's splashing the cash. I'd fucking love it there was some mental way a load of deals got agreed and then the takeover failed, leaving Ashley footing the bill for Poch, Kane, Coutinho and Koulibaly.

I would absolutely love this. I see the thinking behind this and it would be a joy to watch but I still think I'd rather just watch them disappear in to irrelevance. Feel like the lack of media attention would destroy Keys in particular.
