    Alan Shearer

You lot are making me feel dirty for backing up the little scummer but has everyone suddenly forgotten Keegan rejuvenating him? Owen's issue was that he was a spineless little prick. He evolved his game after injuries and when he could be arsed proved he could be effective. He just didn't want to because he's subhuman scum.
  2. I for one would welcome our Man Utd supporting Chelsea season ticket holder overlord. *who purchased another random club to 'dip his toes in the water'. I'm not a careful what you wish for kind of person but fuck me, there's no way it wouldn't end in tears. It'd be just our luck.
  3. Fucking hell I hope it doesn't click for Wham. Let's see the Olympic Stadium in the Champo, you fucking pricks.

    Kenedy

He’s making millions of pounds to play football, his partner doesn’t have to work ever, he can even hire a whole army of nannys and servants to look after the whole family. Or else just use a f***ing condom the babies can likely come in his mid-30s once he’s set for life. It’s a poor excuse. It doesn’t matter how much money a person is making, if they’re a good father he’ll want to be close to the kid. This includes waking up numerous times during the night.. Newcastle is just a job to these players. Work will always come off second best to a newborn. But we mere mortals do think about our career when planning a family. My work comes second to my kid but I made damn sure that I had progressed up the career ladder in my 20s to the point where I now in my 30s I had all the necessary promotions so that I could work my job doing flexible hours etc so that my work life balance was not adversely affected. Kenedy is still very young. This year is his big chance to cement his position as a credible Premier League player and create opportunities to either get a new Chelsea contract or go elsewhere either way doubling his salary and creating better opportunities to be successful. At this moment (well 40 weeks before) he decides to have a baby. It’s pure stupidity. holy fuck what is this.

    Rafa Benítez

Can't wait for this argument to be used by the media for Di Matteo next year.
  6. We have to make up for the biggest wage bill in the history of the second division evar somehow. Big Mike can only foot the bill whilst simultaneously doubling the debt that would ordinarily be paid off by now somehow.
  7. Fuck off. Who's ever placing that? I might just start throwing a fiver on ten random bullshit punts like that. I'd only be losing the same amount as I already am.
  8. Fucking hell Man City should be ashamed of winning by only one. There's so many mental things about this. I'm particularly trying to get my head around the fact £25m of the £32m is on defenders, and that's still less than Man City have paid for a single one of their players. But Rafa is shit, amirite Crumpy Gunt[/member]?
  9. What a depressing match. Just due to the difference in resources. We battled our fucking hearts out. But for a Bramblesque error and a screamer we'd have been well in for a positive result. I left the pub when the match finished. Is Rafa a disgusting excuse of a human being for combatinf Man City in the best way possible when the players are a tenth of the worth? Crumpy?
  10. A Man U supporting season ticket holder at Stamford Bridge? Get to fuck.

    Rafa Benítez

Fucking mental, isn't it? Weren't some 'pundits' claiming that Rafa's approach to these games only 'ends one way', too?
  12. I'll count you in as number six, Kevo. If we get four more I'll get PMing.

    Rafa Benítez

I honestly don't understand why any 'Newcastle fans' think anything other than this. There's just no arguing/convincing/reasoning with some idiots people and it's not worth the debate. Sad state of affairs. But the football is so rubbish!! Didn't everyone slate Pardew for the exact same thing!!?? Forgetting that Rafa's methods are proven over a season, aren't based on pure fucking luck and magic, and Pardew was actually given our most technically gifted team in fuck knows how long after our lucky run in the transfer market.
  14. Such a nothing story. Couldn't give a shit about the relationship between Lascelles and Ritchie. I'd honestly be shocked if Ritchie hasn't squared up to half the squad, the radge little headcase. I just want Rafa and Lascelles to be okay.
  15. I'm happy with that. Yesterday's question was will it be a draw at half time. My mind went into overdrive so I skipped.
  16. Getting quite excited now. We're going to be fucking gutted when it loses on the first question. Maybe we can work out a system where we split the amount placed on each answer based on the voting split. But we'll cross such bridges if we come to them.
  17. Noted. If there's enough interest I'll drop some PMs as soon as my next ticket fails miserably and we can work out the details.
  18. I'm going to throw a random idea out that might go down like a lead balloon.. Kind of like a betting syndicate, would anyone be interested in a group Beat The Drop? You can place a maximum of £50 which means you answer 16 yes/no questions correctly for a million. Say ten people go in for a fiver, could then do a vote on the answer. If a choice gets 7/10 votes or more, we lump the whole lot. If a choice is 6/10 or less, we skip that question (you can skip as many questions as you want as long as you complete your ticket within six months). For those that don't know about Beat The Drop: I just figure more the more football knowledge the better.
  19. Finally win my first bet of the season. The Burnley match was a rollercoaster. I also had the match as BTTS in this round of Betfair's Beat The Drop so I figured it was staying 1-0 to screw both over.
  20. This is it. You can't compare players and managers mistakes because they do get vilified and have no hiding place. There's a whole campaign to give referees respect FFS. Whilst I appreciate the sentiment of that, it's a joke that they're allowed to make such bullshit decisions then go and hide with no repercussions apart from a couple of lines in a news article. Kenedy got a whole article dedicated to his disappointing performance against Cardiff, didn't he? Exactly how often is a whole article dedicated to one referee's performance in a national circulation? I get your sentiment on referees being able to help themselves BTW Stifleaay. But to write off VAR as a result is insane. Anything to help there be more accountability and a chance to overturn a bullshit decision is okay in my book. Mental that you'd disregard VAR because they'll sometimes let an already bullshit decision stand.

    Dogawful Officiating

Well that's settled. Fucking idiot. http://www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11095/11485404/premier-league-referee-bobby-madley-sacked-after-sending-offensive-social-media-message EDIT: Hadn't realised Giggs.
