It'd rightly be merged into the Not Worthy Of a Thread thread.

Why would he ever trust Ashley? He ain't going to be bought off by him after being let down window after window. He wouldn't, the terms about training and academy would be in the contract as would his transfer terms. Weren't we told certain investment assurances were 'iron-clad' in his new contract two years ago?
-
Wouldn't blame him if he wanted something more permanent himself tbf. If I had personal reasons for moving I don't think I'd want the thought of another move in a year's time looming while I'm trying to sort stuff.
-
He's competent as fuck at doing the job Ashley tells him to do. He's just a lickspittle.

This needs to go to them.

Who's that behind her? Fucking loved it.

Nah, gan local. Start Fitness/Start Football or whatever it is. Whilst I admire that sentiment, it only works in the North East. Hit him nationally. DW is his main rival, not some NE-only brand. That'll hurt him the most, which is what matters. Strikes me as another one of those do what feels right for you. E.g. I'm a southerner so my instinct is to say DW with no knowledge of NE sports shops. But if you want to push people toward a local business then do it. The sort of action right now doesn't need to be concerted to that extent. Just keep hitting him wherever you think it hurts best imo.

Aye, Rondon doesn't score much either and he's not going to improve so I'd rather try Abraham simply for potential.

Fucking rights. I'm so uninteresting even SD don't block me for my abuse. Second chance. #IGoAgain.

Can't believe SD's Twitter is just two hours from not advertising anything for twenty four hours.

https://twitter.com/ashleyoutdotcom/status/1021795855068798976?s=21 EDIT: Strange. Trying to post Ashley Out's tweet from a minute ago with various contact info.

And I of course pray you're right.

Agreed on this view. Other than the last part which I think is more borne out of hope. Unfortunately he's managed to get his vomit-ridden sausage fingers in too many pies for me to see him failing on a personal level.
-
fantastically by all accounts, in their under 23's and in the england squad think he may have captained their under 23's as well Which is a good job, given that the majority of his fee was based on his progress. We might actually end up making close to £7m on him. Can't wait for the window that it bolsters the ol' warchest.
-
I'm sure there will be, don't worry.
-
How quick must the pathetic twirp been on the phone to his underlings? Loves to bully anyone he can but cries at the first sign of people getting one up on him.

I'm shocked that clubs have cottoned on to this genius tactic. It had been working so well. At least no one is stupid enough to claim we get good value when selling players these days. The likes of Carroll, Sissoko and Wijnaldum very much the anomalies over the past decade of these scumbags.
-
Best of luck to him. Still think he could've been good for us but it wasn't to be. I look forward to eighty percent of his transfer fee being forgotten about as it gets paid over the coming years and we can only 'spend what we bring in'.
-
Undisclosed fee, paid in installments. Like Mitro's is going to be later in the week. I've seen £6m quoted. Instalments for £6m ffs. Woo. Chuck another tenner in the wachest.
-
I mean in terms of actually wanting to compete. It's all well and good our fans and manager wanting us to compete but as it is we have an owner that makes us a club that are just making up the numbers.
-
Fair play to Wolves. Can't recall any reason to particularly dislike them so if they're actually going to try and challenge in this league credit to them. The league as a whole is better for teams like Wolves than shithouse clubs like the state of ours right now.
-
How much trouble would Everton be in Watford pursued the tapping up? Strikes me as something I'd expect them to pay a £3-4m in compo to Watford and it'd be over.
-
If everyone did it they would have no choice. Not sure BT would be too worried about his feelings though. If it's a converted enough effort what are they going to do, just not cut to the crowd for the whole ninety minutes?
-
If people conceal said printouts well enough to not get them confiscated that's a pretty cracking idea tbf. If people were prepared to do it week in week out he'd pop a vein, the thin-skinned fuck.
