In general, we have had very good results against Hughton teams but always liked the way he set up his teams. I haven't watched a lot of his teams though. Just feel that it would be interesting to see how he would do with better quality players - maybe a club like Leicester? I was curious to know if you shared my opinion or whether I was overrating him. I don't think you'll find an NUFC fan with a bad word to say about him. Great man, did a more than adequate job when he brought us up and got some memorable results whilst guiding us to comfortably mid-table by December. He seems a stable manager who'll give you a good chance at mid-table stability if given the time. Not sure if he could push on much further if I'm honest but who am I to judge? Would love for him to be given the chance to prove me wrong.

Is it a two way clause? I may have gotten it round the wrong way but I could've sworn there was an amount along those lines paid to him if Ashley gave him the boot? The idea Rafa leaving would ramp up the protests. He's the man that's galvanised the support into doing something in the first place. The longer he's here the more fans will care about shifting Ashley. When he walks away I'm fairly confident any protests will reduce rather than increase tbh.

In most formal small sided games the 'keeper can't leave the area. That's the difference really. Yeah that makes sense. Just people used to say it on the playground/park etc, as if it meant anything. I feel like it must stem from some inane child logic based on the fact back at school no one ever really wanted to be in goal. I was the antithesis of that. I'd only play if it was 'stick' 'keepers.
