    Sunderland...

I love that Neil is more irritated by the mackems than a lot of us Newcastle fans.
  2. I think he's very middle of the road with it. Sometimes he seems to do it, other times will persevere with a player. He's not spectacularly stubborn, nor spectacularly ruthless.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Would be more than content at seeing a 30 min cameo in each match. Anymore would be a jizz worthy bonus.

I don't know what it is, but the 'Oh' really sets that insult off. I can feel the irritable sigh at the beginning from Rocker, there.
  5. Saw that on the Wright Stuff. The way they were talking it seemed like it was just a non-starter to fill a page of the papers based purely on an unfounded idea. Didn't realise it was actually discussed at an AGM.

I love the idea that a reserves game is less pointless than a Carling Cup match.
  7. Purely my negative personality, but do people think he'd seamlessly slot back in if he came back? Particularly without Nolan and Barton? Not that I have the slightest feeling he'll return, like.

    St James' Park

Ah, man, that would be sooo good. Stuff of dreams. Stuff of dreams! Seriously. I'm well up for that, like. I've got the Ipswich branch covered, for sure.

Good words from Pardew there. But it's still a shame that it's at this point. Maybe it will help him realise what a dick he's playing now that it's said in no uncertain terms to the rest of the football world that he's turning into a joke of a 'footballer'. Sadly it won't. Hell, he'll probably think it's the shit knowing that if he doesn't shape up, he's getting paid a good few grand a week to go and kick a ball about for a couple of hours a day.

Ba will definitely score with more starts. Cabaye must have read all the articles about missing Nolan's goals, and is clearly now hell bent on scoring at least 10 this season from 30 yards. Jonas will accidentally score at least a couple. Saylor should get at least 5 from set pieces, such is his determination to score so he can put on his special performance piece celebrations. Ben Arfa if fit ... it's a given. Marveaux is so smooth it will be unavoidable. Tiote will thunder in at least one this season, again. I love this kind of positivity after a game like this.
  11. Invisible tbh. Apart from his awful, desperate long range efforts. I think the phrase I'm looking for, is out of his depth?

    Still loving that stat.
  13. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it's joke Sess' is quality, don't knock him. I'd carry him on my back from Sunderland if that meant we could nab him. It's not really that far tbf. He's still had to go to Sunderland, though.

The board would have sanctioned the purchase of a quality, much needed striker.

Can't disagree with any of that. But therein lies the problem. Let's fucking pray that comes to fruition.
  16. Elliot Perch Saylor Colo Fergie Guthers Gosling Yocabs Ober Sammy Loven Barfa, Marv and Ba to get around 30-45 mins each.

Barely noticed him. Always a positive.
  18. Very pleased. Coming together at last I hope.
  19. As long as it's to give him a full 90 mins as a test, rest him against Blackburn and then he's a starter, I'm happy. Obviously that's not what will happen. But he should be starting.
  20. Very pleased with him today. Some fantastic link up play at times.

    Sunderland...

    They merged a thread?
  22. I'm quite irritated that we've paid £3m for such a thing, though, when we've got the likes of Sammy to do it.
