Just said the same. Corker by Downing too. And Rochemback. I know it may be wrong but I think he is a decent footballer at times. When he can be arsed. Looks like he eats Parmo and chips most nights.

Lescott is a better finisher than Andy Johnson.

They sold very, very slightly over half the 3,000 allocation for the semi-final at Goodison this season. 1,800 max. Of course, Sky didn't show that and also turned the mics up to make it sound like Chelsea brought some big vociferous army of fans with them.

Not really arsed for them, such a nothing club they might as well not exist. Loads more 'nothing' clubs than Fulham. Chelsea were always the Third Club in West London until Abramovich. That's total bollocks to be fair to Chelsea. When was the last time they were in the 3rd and 4th divisions like Fulham have been not so long ago? Won a fair few trophies in the 90's and were pretty fashionable around the Osgood era by all accounts.

They're all rubbish apart from maybe Zarate and Kapo.

Was. Not now.

Yep, the weather is nice here at the mo and is forecast to stay that way. I'm going on the piss on County Rd early. Any Everton team news heard yesterday Lescott and Yobo are doubtful? Not heard anything about Yobo. Hibbert is out for a few months now and Lescott may or may not play today before having injections to strengthen his knee and rest over the summer.

I got Grahiano da Costa. Quality.

Where the prem differs from Aussie rules and the NFL, that there is an alternative place for players to go and make almost as much money. A salary cap would IMO, just have the effect of lowering the general quality as talent then drains away to the Spanish and Italian leagues. What works really well for the NFL is the Draft process, I would love to see a similar system applied to the PL but I don't think it would it work, there are too many problems and we don't have the college system to draft from. The other thing that helps to ensure all teams have a chance to compete in the NFL is the Trading processes. You can't just go to one Franchise and give them $30mill for their best player, in order to aquire them they either have to wait until they become a free agent (and this is where the salary cap helps stop teams from just paying more than everyone else for the best players) or trade something for them such as draft picks and or one or a number of your best players or potential stars. But conditions for these other sports are completely different , I'm not sure there is a massive amount that can be done to change the transfer system to make level the playing field. The rich will just continue to get richer and it'll be up to those chasing to try to join that elite club by finding their own funding streams. Is it not a given when anyone talks about salary caps that it would be Europe wide? Otherwise it would never get off the ground.

Linked with Everton so lets beat them so they dont get europe We've been linked more with M'Bami from Marseille

That Pompey badge is rubbish, tacky looking colours. The current one is really good I think, nice and simple. It's also pretty new itself so why the need for another change I'm not sure. Still, not as bad as the new QPR one http://www.qpr.premiumtv.co.uk/javaImages/c8/bf/0,,10373~3653576,00.jpg

He's been an England regular recently under the new coaching set up. Crouch hasn't. It's pretty pointless still talking about Sven's team. I don't see what taking shots at Beattie & Johnson has got to do with anything but ok.
-
Your manager wants £15m for an England bench warmer but thinks £10m is fair for an England starter. And you reckon £7m? I think that's bollocks to be fair.
-
Europe-wide salary cap, maximum spend per window and maximum squad size.
-
We've made an offer for Joaquin according to Marca
-
I'd fully expect you to roll over if not for Keegan and Owen who will probably be desperate to stop us getting into Europe, the twats.
-
Asking price is supposed to be £12m despite him being unwanted at Valencia who are struggling for cash. Bit steep. He's very talented but hasn't been as good this season as he was in his last loan spell, he started very slowly probably due to a lack of fitness/games. I still think he can be one of the top midfielders around if he ups his workrate and application a bit.
-
Politically correct bullshit that the media spout is the only reason anyone is even thinking about the possibility of this. Let them have a pro-league in the summer and see how it goes. Good luck to them.
-
I wouldn't be bothered if we sold Johnson but I can't see it. I know he was supposed to be livid last week when yet another "AJ to West Ham" story was in the papers.
-
I remember that ugly cunt Stubbs telling Rooney to go to United. I wonder if Berger is in an agents pocket too?

Is that "ITK" info then?
