@Ronaldo ignore my last post I was drunkenly thinking of someone else who's name escapes me at the mo. Accept my apologies if you will

Heard loads & still here the odd black c*** remark when Shola f***s up. Not saying it's acceptable, because of course it isn't, but in those instances "black" is used to describe him, with c*** being the actual insult, and the insult is being issued purely for footballing reasons and nothing to do with race. It's like calling Le Tissier a big nosed t*** or Dennis Wise a midget prick. Sorry mate but that is the bog standard excuse trotted out by the racists in the 70s and 80s. If he was ginger/fat/big nosed/dwarf/cemetary teeth/ludicrous haircut he would get stick from the crowd because of this, but if he's black you can't say anything. Both terms are the insult not just one.

The Mail is far worse than any Murdoch publication. And that takes some doing.

@Ronaldo So really it's just you who doesn't think the players respect him. No proof, just a gut feeling. Please explain how any team can get 102 points under a manager they 'don't respect'

Worst ever TV programme about the England football team
2sheds replied to Liam Liam Liam O's topic in Football
The worst England manager should be either that bastard Revie, or Howard 'we might as well forget all about qualifying for the 2002 world cup final' Wilkinson after his one game in charge. It's also a disgrace that Alvin Martin wasn't in the team along with Shitty Denis Wise. -
The wierd thing is that Keegan was not a particularly skillfull player but he was a hard worker. Dalglish on the other hand had bags of flair and skill. Yet their respective teams were the exact opposite of their playing styles.

Who waited an 'hour and a half'? They waited half an hour. Ok half an hour waiting instead of celebrating. Same small town mentality on display VERY sneaky edit there, clever lad! :snod: :snod: Yes I had to be quick with that one

Yeah good on you lads for not celebrating earning the Championship trophy. Good on you for taking an hour and a half to give a visiting manager 30 secs of abuse. Oh and good on Sunderland for displaying their small town mentality by singing songs about us at every game. It's all crack/banter isn't it?
-
Embarassing and petty tbh. Have these idiots got nothing better to do than to wait 1 and a half hours to abuse a visiting manager? On the day were became Champions and collected the trophy????? These are the kind of 'fans' we could do without.

I never want to see us buy a player for 'experience' ever again. The idea the 'experience' is beneficial is a complete phallacy 95% of the time. The problem isn't buying 'experienced' players, the problem is buying Man Utd cast offs. The vast majority of them never do better after leaving Old Trafford in fact the only player we ever bought off them who did OK was David McCreery. Imagine how Blackburn felt when they got a 'bargain' by buying Cole and Yorke (cost to Manure = £20 million) for 'just' £6 million? That bargain looked like a total waste of money after a season.

Top 10 Reasons Why Newcastle United Might Struggle To Make It In The EPL

Championship Manager wrote: These stories that 'will be made up', about 'Super Al wanting the hot seat' even tho 'it might not be true' - what sort of arsehole will spread shit like this? Of course - it will be the likes of you -
Great post Wallace

I thought we'd spend at least 5 years out of the Premier League and probably drop down a division for a season in that time. I'm delighted to have been proved utterly and totally wrong.

The main thing that needs lowering is the amount of fuckwits telling everyone we need to lower our expectations. MESSAGE: "HERD NOW CAN YOU ALL SHUT THE f*** UP!!!!" fyp

Yes it doesn't matter if it's the odd few or even the odd one when you are clearly as obsessed about the local rivals as they are.

If there’s one person who’s benefited from the turmoil at the club since Ashley took over its Chris Hughton. It would have been a bit rich if he’d started moaning about it. Yes he'll benefit even more when he's the lowest paid manager in the premier league. Still a lot better than being an assistant manager of no real repute, and better paid. If Wise hadn’t brought Hughton in just before the s*** started hitting the fan he’d probably never of had a shot at management, or if he did he’d have to have started right down the leagues and earned a shot at managing a club of NUFC’s stature. He’s taken his opportunity well but trying to deny NUFC’s misfortune has been very good for Hughton’s career is wankfest thinking. Hughton has done less well out of the Ashley turmoil than Wise, Keegan and Shearer - who have each sucked multiples of Hughton's salary out of the club in the last few years. Aye, Keegan and Wise’s reputations have been vastly enhanced over the last two years. Reputations =/= multiples of Hughton's salary so why are you talking about them for 2 of the 3 names I've mentioned?

That Nolan felt the need to say this tells its own story. The question of Hughton’s authority only needs to be clarified because of the big deal Nolan is making about the role of the players committee. I can’t imagine Rio Ferdinand coming out and clarifying that when SFA wants something from the players he gets it, or to look at it another way, any player coming out and saying when the manager asks for something the players ignore him. The best quotes from Nolan were the stuff about him not wanting to be remembered as a legend and saying the club made big mistakes after our last promotion. It must have been ten years after our last promotion before the club made any big mistakes, unless you count regularly finishing in a European place and coming within a whisker of winning the PL. And before anybody wrongly accuses me of being somebody I’m not, it was Nolan who had to drag up the last regime and it’s not my fault he was talking rubbish. Like I said earlier, a sense of delusions of grandeur underpins the sound bites. And this is definitely it for me until next season. NE5 indeed! Some are obsessed with NE5, or should that be infatuated and secretly desire to wrap their lips around his throbbing shaft while he talks dirty about Freddy Shepherd? Andy Cole sale? The sale of Sir Les? Gullitt?

Met loads of Geordies in Ollerton who'd went to Nottingham to work in the pits in the mid 90s. Some of the kindest people I've ever met tbh. I can't stand the whole 'scab' crap. TBH I would rather scab than slavishly follow some yorkshire meglomaniac like Scargill who had the bright idea of starting a miners strike in March.

No 6 is a fair one from their point of view. The rest is just a meaningless rant.
