It's not really a mystery that we're struggling to score when we've lost a world class striker and are having to adapt to a completely different style of player up front, with injuries to key attacking players to compound it (I'm assuming Bruno and Joelinton are included in that since they didn't come off the bench). This season was always going to be a transitional one to begin with, our best strategy is to try and nick draws on the road.

I'll judge it after 90 minutes. How many times have people melted down on here only for us to win comfortably? Schar is injured, Barnes is injured, Joelinton was feeling his thigh just before he came off on Thursday, Bruno has been shite all season, Elanga/Murphy is much of a muchness, Woltemade is better than Gordon, Hall and Tino is better than having Trippier up against pace. The concern is the formation, yes, but clearly this is something that Eddie wants to work on away from home. He's not going to drop the idea after a couple of dodgy games.

With the physicality we've got, we really shouldn't need to be fucking about with short corners, "changing the angle", etc. Just whip it in to a good area with pace. Fair enough mix it up every now and then, but it's infuriating seeing us fumble so many short corners.

He's put himself in the spotlight for that though with the daft red cards. It's up to him to win fans' trust back with his performances at this stage.

Played well until the first goal, which knocked the stuffing out of us. All the energy we played with in the first hour was ultimately wasted due to having no focal point up front. By the time Wolte came on we were done. Schar should've been off immediately, absolutely abysmal by our medical staff and potentially cost us the game.

There's absolutely no chance you finish 7th under Amorim like Frogster. He has absolutely no flexibility and no idea how to get the best out of your squad. You've had a decent 45 minutes against Arsenal, which appears to have been a false dawn, and very little else to get excited about. You'll be closer to bottom than top again.
