I am not too keen for Caroll giong to League 1 or League. I reckon the gulf of quality is too big and last thing I want to see is Carroll adapting himself to League 1 football. Ligue 1 on the other hand

In all honesty I can't see how Carroll would get many games in a Championship club. He is still raw, and very young. Surely Championship clubs could get older and more experienced players like Dean Windass or George Hosfield who would do a similar job?

How about Ashton and Bent? Them as squad players would be a waste of talents and space. I highly doubt that they would settle for a squad place only. There will be plaenty of clubs willing to offer them firm first team places.

I think, when we bought Carr he was a decent fullback. When we bought Boumsong he was a good central defender. When we bought Luque he would have walked in almost every La Liga team.

I would leave the decision to this top class manager. He would know more than me that's for sure

I think Watford is going to kick asses in Championship next season, as long as they get a good keeper to replace Richard Lee who is inconsistent to me. A pair of fullback and another more skillful and positive minded central midfielder (compared to Mahon) too. "It's not my squad" is a terrible terrible excuse, worse than using injury as an excuse. Every new managers work with squads left by the predecessor, MON works with what DOL left him, Curbishely works with Pardew's players etc. Only Martins, Duff, Gooch and Sib are his players but he forgets how many times the likes of Solano, Milner, Given, Parker etc save Newcastle for Roeder. Would he dispense with such players? Wake up Roeder.

I suggested Bouzza long time ago But honestly I don't think we should go for him because we already have N'Zogbia and Duff. Unless we are getting him as a forward but he will cost a fortune as he is perhaps the only reason Watford still score the odds goals here and there. There are quite a few good young players collated by Boothroyd in Watford. If we are looking for a tap in striker we miss the boat on Tamas Priskin. He won't be world beater but at less than a million he is more than value for money. Will Hoskin too, we should have gotten him at the price he was bought by Watford. An enigmatic forward whom I think will kick asses in Championship next year. Adrian Mariappa, I thought he would be a good right back for the future but watching him against Man U make me think twice.

The lost Michael Carrick, and replace him with Zokora. There is more steel in the midfield but they sorely miss the forward advance of Carrick. Jenas can't fill the void. However for Spurs, I still think that the sacking of Dawson and Robsinson is more important than the acquisistion of a midfielder better than Jenas. With King seemingly injury prone and Rocha no where near the standard of fellow countryman Andrade, Cavalho and Meira, a central defender would be the priority.

I'd rather pay 1.7m on Kerzhakov than 5m on Duff. A striker is significantly more a priority than left winger. And 1.7m is not much compared to 5m and huge signing on fee.

Tottenham need to get rid of Michael Dawson and Paul Robinson. From a selfish point of view they shouldn't go but for Spurs' sake these 2 are liabilities now. Apart from looking fierce Dawson is error prone. Apart from looking angry Robinson offers nothing more than routine save. Zokora needs to go forward more and Aaron Lennon needs to vary his play aside from kick and run if he wants to be a top class player. Of course, if all Spurs players are better they won't be where they are now. BOttomline is, Dawson and Robinson should not be any near to the national team. Lescott and Taylor are better than the former and Foster, Carson, James and Kirkland better than the latter.

It depends largely on the manager. If a manager of Fergie, Rafa, Wenger and Mourinho's class is managing the England team, then I would expect top or 2nd.
