But if there's no one available, i'm glad KK didn't go for someone out of desperation, if Chimbonda's availale and we do get him, i'll be pleased. It's about improving the team as a whole at the end of the day. there may be one player out there who could this who would be willing to come, if that's a right back so be it.

agreed entirely. emirates is very impressive but it seems a bit fake. Emirates is shit, what's with the curved stands? Looks shite. I actually really liked WHL, it's not that big but everything is tightly packed in and feels like your right on top of the action.

I just can't see him being any good in the middle either. Don't know attributes he has that makes people think that. He's not quick, nothing special vision/creative wise, can't head it, isn't that strong, not great at tackling either. Obv other things like reading of the game can only be judged when he's in the centre but something just makes me think...nah.

Christiano Ronaldo? I don't know how he came into this ... All I know is that Milner is a whole hell of a lot away from Routledge. Not really, I'm not Milner's biggest fan but from the little i've seen of Routledge he doesn't seem as good as you think he is. He's quick, but that's probably the only thing he has over Milner. He'll probably do well at villa but I wouldn't have wanted him. Hope we get someone better than that. Routledge isn't a significant upgrade.

As difficult as it is to select a 'best' player from those games, i think Butt was absolutely terrible. Didn't protect the defense, abysmal distribution to the wings, and couldn't pass the ball more than ten yards. I'm really worried about Butt personally. He started the season relatively well, but he's as inconsistent as fuck. He's looked awful every time i've seen him away from home. Between Taylor and Butt imo. Butt was excellent at breaking up the little triangles Arsenal were trying round us, was quick and clean into the challenge and rarely loses the ball (whilst in his possesion) His attempts at cross field balls though as you say are shocking. He should keep it simple. But then a lot there is no simple outlet apart from backwards so he's forced to try longer more hopefull balls. A few came off, I'll give him the fact he tries to play balls to get us into decent positions cos noone else does. But his execution is shit. That's why Emre & Butt is a good partnership because Emre is deep and demands the ball when Butt wins it, meaning he doesn't have to try a hollywood ball all the time.

IMO they wern't three better than us again, there's signs that we're getting better at least. The goals were done to some cunt (probably Butt) giving it away in the middle, a gorgeous strike and one that looked offside. Performance was OK but there's fuck all cutting edge in the final third, Smith is a waste of space. Is in midfield when the rare times the ball gets played into the box. Milner just sticks to the touchline, plays a few backwards passes, as per. Duff wasn't advanced enough to hurt them either which left Owen who worked his cunt off feeding off shit as usual. And get Rozehanl out of Midfield ffs.

We keep getting this ref that books us for calling 'mine' instead of your name when a ball is coming to you. Something about the opponent can't tell the difference if they're not looking at you so it's unsporting. A booking though?! £7 bloody fine for that!
