7.5. Long way to go.

Brighton seem to get more than their fair share, we've had about 2 all season yet probably have the most shots on goal than every other team. The lack of calls for pulling the shirt and man handling at corners is comical really, and costing us big time right now. It's probably because they have players who can go past a man. The only one we have sits on the bench for 75 minutes.

We deserved to get at least a point from the game, but even if we did the performance would've been underwhelming again, that's my main issue.

There's a blueprint emerging of how to play against us and get results. He needs to change something quick or it'll cost us promotion, because we're not good enough to overcome the tactic of defending deep and in numbers currently - that's absolutely for certain.

I get that games like this happen, but they're happening too much. We have no plan b, are way too sluggish to react and are reactive. Rank tactics from Benitez, it has to be said.

As frustrating as losses like yesterday are, just imagine who we'd have in charge if Rafa had chosen to leave. That's one thing that makes it a lot easier to take. The club was toxic before he came in.

I feel like we're winning in spite of the system, as weird as that is. Our players and general quality are doing enough but I don't think the teams are set up to get the best out of the collective. The first goal tends to dictate the result too much for me. We're grinding our way there, don't get me wrong and I'm pleased about that, but I'd like to see a bit more variation because it's becoming too easy to play against us when we're at home.

No pace out wide makes it easy to defend against us at times. Would like to see Atsu.

Heard Ozil's wavering about signing a new contract, too. Could be just the man we need.

Not heard the word mittens for at least 10 years.
