Very good at the basics of defending, just needs to be a little more composed on the ball, he always heads it away even when there's no pressure on him and he can bring it down, gives away possession quite a lot. Also he's a real threat at set pieces, seems to have that knack of getting on the end of things.

He'll have to do some serious grovelling if he's to come back, you can say it's just words and whatnot but I do think he was in two minds about whether to stay, and if he has now realised he's made a mistake and wants to come back, when he could probably secure a move to another lower premier league team, I'd be happy for him to return. Not to mention he'd improve us drastically...
