I have watched this game so many times since, and always turn it off before the end

Carragher quitting England i might as well come out in the press and say i am quitting England too as much of a regular as him tbh

It's his Blackburn debut away to Palace. Wonder if they show Berbatov's debut for Spurs in 15 years time?....
-
Kevin Phillips and Marcus Stewart have had better seasons than Berbatov

I cant actually see the article. What's the question? Oh and maybe i went a bit to far on the crossing ability but i definatly feel he was better then Shearer on the other two points. As Ronaldo has said, if his positional sense and movement was as good as Shearer's then why has he only managed a dozen goals in the Premiership? Surely if his movement was that good he'd be finding plenty of space in the box? hmmm is that some sort of trick question?. Maybe because his finishing isnt as good as Shearers? His finishing must be awful if he's got better movement and positioning than someone who scored 30+ in the league 3 seasons running but can only manage 12 himself. indeed WELL SAID. CLOSE THE THREAD

Surely that is because they will be playing Tue/Wed in the champions league.... at a guess. every week?

Hope we are on the Sunday against Bolton

Fucking hell. Were you living under a rock between 93 and 97? Shearer and Ferdinand in and around their prime were easily better than the Berb in pretty much all departments. was he even born in 97?
-
Sorry, are you on smack? I genuinely can't believe what I'm reading.

Is he quoted for saying the opposite? By deliberately not saying anything (he knows people are concerned about it) he is effectively "saying the opposite by omission" - YES! (Myself, actually think he is staying - but he should SPEAK!) why? Dyer hasn't, Taylor hasn't.
-
Would prefer Berbatov to any of that lot tbh though Shearer and Ferdinand in their prime definatly beat the rest. ARE YOU ACTUALLY BEING SERIOUS?

Getafe Release Schuster, Capello Sack Hours Away Fabio Capello will be sacked later today after Bernd Schuster was released from his contract at Getafe late last night. Schuster would have had to pay Getafe 400,000 euros in order to rescind his contract, but given the superb job done by the German, club president Angel Torres has decided to forfeit the sum and wish him the best. This comes after some rather stubborn resistance offered by Torres, and the understanding is that he chose to end things on positive terms in hope that he could land some Madrid youngsters on loan this summer. The decision sets Schuster up for the Real Madrid job, as Ramon Calderon had made it amply clear that any negotiations would only take place after "contractual obligations with Getafe were resolved." The Madrid's directors are scheduled to meet later today, and will take a final decision on Capello's dismissal. However, a formal communication will take place on Monday, July the 2nd, as Capello will only be entitled to one year's compensation if sacked after the 30th of June. Capello had earlier claimed that he would "make Madrid pay every cent" they owed him if he was sacked, but it seems as if the coach will have to settle for just one year's salary. Once the announcement is made, Schuster will be confirmed as the new coach, and be officially presented on Monday itself. In the meanwhile, it is understood that he will start his work informally, discussing transfer strategy so that Madrid can make their moves after watching Barcelona finish most of their transfer business already. AS provide a rather interesting comment on the subject, quoting the president as having told aides: "All the people are requesting me to bring Schuster to Madrid. That means we have made the right decision."
