Cisse can hold the ball up. Playing up front on his own at Freiburg he was brilliant at it.

Means nowt I suppose, was suspended on joining us the other day. Still think he'll go there though. I've found myself in a funny position, from originally not wanting him near SJP, to toying with the idea to thinking that we better get this plank in else the window has been a failure Obviously exaggerating but I've definitely come round to the idea. Maybe but considering we were favourites yesterday there's obviously been a lot of money going down. Whether it's well-informed money remains to be seen.

I would be thankful if someone translate the article, I only have my iPhone available so... Luuk de Jong wants to leave at FC Twente HOOFDDORP - Luuk de Jong has decided this summer at FC Twente to want to leave. There are several clubs interested in the services of the 21-year-old striker. Photo: Getty Images '' Luuk yourself out there. If he step can make the right sports, then he would be glad to do'', says his agent Louis Laros opposite TC Tubantia. '' And it do not need to be absolute top club. A good club in a big league prospect where he gets to play can also be a good step.'' The words of Laros can mean good news for Newcastle United, which is currently the most specific. The English club would have about 12.5 million euros for De Jong. Laros:'' At the individual names of clubs I'm not, but there are more than two clubs are seriously interested.''

We've had just the same type of displays at previous tournaments when Lampard was in the side playing at his supposed peak. It's complete bollocks to think he'd have made any difference now when he's nowhere near the player he was. Don't think he'd have made much difference because we were outplayed across the field. But we lacked any composure in midfield which was actually my point. It maybe your point but it's not what you wrote. Yes it is, you've even highlighted it in bold. We needed someone else in midfield, a cool head capable of a defence splitting pass, switching the play quickly or striking from distance. Pirlo was the difference in that respect but I'm not saying Lampard would have filled that gap. It was merely another injury loss England didn't need in a tough game and Hodgson made best of what he had available. We rode our luck a bit and fought hard but we just didn't have the quality espescially in midfield. Which you said was Lampard ffs. "We missed his presence"...He "ticks the boxes"
