  1. Amazing how short some people's memories are. We're still paying the price for Shepherd's crass ineptitude but people want him back because he's "local".
  2. I'm sure some people have previously suggested that Shepherd was less than straight in certain transfer & financial matters during his tenure here. I've not - so far - heard too many similar "suggestions" about Mike Ashley. The worst that's been said about him is that he's been tight-fisted, two-faced, naiive or deluded... ...haven't once heard anyone suggesting his transfer dealings have been "suspect".

  4. What did I do there then, indi? Sorry - not following you at all...
  5. Very good point. Can Llambias even speak fucking english? cunt. All it tells us in fact is that Shepherd remains a gobshite that talks too much even to this day, and that Llambias is keeping his cards close to his chest.
  6. Aye, no coincidence that h's wanting to sell up just as the economic climate becomes just that little bit tougher for him and his Sports Direct business... He may find this club harder to sell than it was to buy though, so let's not be dancing in the streets just yet, eh? Maybe wait a while and see who (if anyone at all) actually buys the club...or if we get stuck with a reluctant owner which could be the worst of all worlds.

What did you find cretinous in particular? And how was it personally embarrassing for you? There was far worse going on in and around the ground today than this small protest.

It's not ironic you clever man. How is it not ironic that you criticise something by doing the exact same thing? The people who are criticising the people with the banner are just as entitled to their opinion as the people holding the banner are to theirs, the only difference is that they've chosen to express their opinion in a way that doesn't disrupt the team on the pitch and contribute to them throwing three points away at home to Hull. That's what they're being criticised for, when they did it, not what they did. If they'd have done it at half time I doubt anyone would have slated them at all. Like I said before, what was the actual reason for them doing it whilst the game was going on, rather than either before, at half time, or afterwards? To get maximum impact, perhaps? What is it exactly that causes you so much offence? If you were there, you'd have seen that what was going on on the pitch wasn't going to be affected by a trio of lads with a banner, parading around the ground...but instead, having nothing more than press reports to go on, you're slating these guys for the inappropriate timing (?!) of their protest? You've got to be shitting us. Seriously.

Yet another master of irony. Not like you to be a condescending twat, Indi. Oh no, wait... Actually, it is. Not like you to... ...well I'm not going there actually. In all seriousness though, there's a whole load of people questioning other people's loyalty to the club simply for daring to have a different opinion to the masses. If that's not condescending, I don't know what is. Is it really condescending to point out that to slag people off for slagging off their own is hugely ironic? How can it be condescending to state a fact? People are being totally one eyed about this whole thing and are flat out refusing to acknowledge that the other side has any points at all. If that carries on, where do you see it leading? An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind. We're fucked anyway. If NUFC was a person, it would have been sectioned long ago and carted off to the nearest nuthouse. I'm getting increasingly tired of people not seeing that Ashley & Co are playing us for mugs - I can't see how you can overlook this detail.

Bullshit motherfucker. Have to say I agree with you. That protest had precisely the sum of fuck all effect on what was a totally shoddy performance from the players today. In fact, I applauded them. I think the following two quotes basically sum up my opinion on today's protests: (1) "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." - Edmund Burke (2) "I may not agree with what you say, but to your death I will defend your right to say it." - Voltaire There's no reason philosophy can't live alongside football. As Descartes once said "that's a fucking right sending off ref!" Support for the team was fine today, though I don't doubt the instability of the club had some effect, I'm annoyed that armchair people think they know what happened. The BBC were reporting a half empty ground. Well OK I was late, not through protest, just that a nephew had a late night and couldn't get his shit together. The ground was full though yes? Admittedly buoyed up by Hull supporters, who were understandably joyous. Nah, the ground wasn't full - a fair few empty seats around the place to be honest. The thing that struck me today was the place was like a morgue most of the time (unsurprisingly).

  13. It would appear that the meeting was at Freshfields. Source on that? Maybe Mort is kicking arse and sorting them all out. Seems a certain fan's email to Mort has had the desired effect.

  15. That's different though. Scotland really are shit.
  16. I'd imagine Pavluchenko should be more careful walking around the West End of London. Especially if he's thinking of visiting any sushi bars in th area.

I'd play Romario ahead of Ameobi.
  19. And whilst the kids are all mucking around with their toy laser pointers, Mick and Wullie could scramble up on the roof with their sniper rifles.

Where's the "This poll is redundant" option?
  21. I think he'd feel too insecure putting his name on his shirt, especially if the club shop got the printing job. Continuing that theme, imagine how ironic it would be if Ashley appoints the poisoned dwarf as first team coach and then slaps the little cunt's name on the back of his shirt. The sight of Ashley with the word "WISE" on the back....
  22. Better still... this could mean Ashley would have to wear the name "FATIH" on the back of his shirt now.
  23. Ah but fuck it all now, though. We may as well have a laugh and enjoy it all. I think the sight of 50,000 geordies jumping up and down to the sound of "Lip Up Fatih" would be immense - just imagine. It would be even more impressive than the scarves at Shearer's testimonial. Mental.
  24. Fish = 60p, chips = 50p Which fucking chippy sells at those low prices in this day and age? No seriously, tell me, I want to know.
