JUSTICE FOR THE TOON!
-
Who do I want? Not David O'Leary or Dennis Wise Who will we end up with? David O'Leary Who had Ashley lined up for this job even before this all kicked off this week? David O'Leary

One thing I'm sure of is this story will definitely NOT be concluded tomorrow. This one will run and run.

Excellent post, indi. Terrible, terrible day.
-
Good to see someone nailing their colours to the mast, KaKa.

Mate of mine used to work in a London ad agency when Wise was at Chelsea and he was banging one of the receptionists there. Apparently Wise would ring up several times a day and he used to just shout down the phone regardless of who picked it up: "JOOOLS!! JOOLS!! WHATCHADOIN BABE?" Arrogant prick back then, so I see no reason why that would have changed now.

This whole hatred of Wise and Ashley is purely tribal. Cockneys vs Geordies. It's a battle drawn up on ancient lines that go back into the Dark Ages. Prejudice brings blindness.
-
We'd still get relegated.
-
Would be more to the point that we check the out of contract MANAGERS, surely?
-
Do you reckon they will bid for Smith and Shola? No.
-
You have the power to determine how this affects you though. Yes, it would mean you'd need to become more of a hard-hearted bastard to not let this sort of thing get you down. But it can be done. The choice is yours.
-
much as i like him i'm not sure i'd trust much of what he would put in there. Aye. It would hardly be objective or unbiased, would it?
-
Sorry - just posted the same thing in the "City ponder £135m Ronaldo bid" thread, but realise it probably fits better in here. This latest development at Citeh is most unwelcome for the good of the game. If there's a parallel though, look to the dot come bubble, it burst eventually...I can't help wondering if the same could happen with speculative investors using football clubs as their executive toys. It's all a bit sickening when it gets to this sort of level though. Mike Ashley is one thing. This is quite another

Let me know where that blog is - wouldn't mind reading your thoughts on this. You're absolutely right mate - this latest development at Citeh is most unwelcome for the good of the game. If there's a parallel though, look to the dot.com bubble, it burst eventually...I can't help wondering if the same could happen with speculative investors using football clubs as their executive toys. It's all a bit sickening when it gets to this sort of level though. Mike Ashley is one thing. This is quite another.

You were outside SJP earlier with that BOYCOUT banner, weren't you? Or were you the one downing White Diamond in front of the cameras?
-
What bad times Dave? Seriously Billy, I need to borrow those rose-tinted specs of yours. Mine are shot to shit after today.

I have to admit that whilst I do love the guy, this whole Keegan thing has never sat that well with me since he got back in January. To me it all felt a bit like getting back with an old girlfriend - but not just any old girlfriend - oh, no...this was your favourite ever girlfriend, your first love, the one you never quite get over, the one you never can forget...the best shag you ever had...you know the sort - canny dirty bitch in the bedroom, angel in the kitchen - except this time round you were only getting her "on loan" from the local pimp, and you knew that she wasn't really all that happy with how things were going, and so all the joy was a bit tainted by constant anxiety that sooner or later it would end in tears. That said, he's still a legend, and still epitomises the passion of the Geordie faithful, and he'll always be remembered for the good times, far more often than he'll be denounced for any bad times. I think I may need another drink.
-
have you considered that the club may not know if he's still going to be our manager or not tomorrow? Well in that case, why doesnt Keegan come and tell us what he's doing. We deserve answers. What makes you think Keegan fucking knows what he's doing? Or what he wants? I'd wager he's sat in some lay-by in his Range Rover crying into his leather upholstery. Probably. As long as he's got the central locking on though, eh?
-
I hope Keegan fucks off and doesn't come back. Who the fuck does he think he is anyway? The Geordie Messiah? My fucking arse, he is. Get Wise in. WISE by name, WISE by nature. Personally, I can't wait until Mike Ashley announces that he's relocating the club 250 miles South to Aylesbury.
