  1. Dear me. It's something that has no place in society whatsoever, so the sooner people like this are ejected from games and handed bans then maybe they will just learn. As far as I'm concerned the fact that you say you're not bothered by this makes you as bad as they are. Don't blame abcdefg for not reporting them either as unfortunately it's the world we live in. I'm also not surprised at the fact he was threatened when he confronted them either. Regular away followers will probably agree with me on this but some of the things you hear on away days is absolutely cringeworthy and disgusting when we travel to towns with a high population of ethnic minorities. Oh I did report them, it's just I should have, for my own safety and that of others not said anything to them first. I'll let you all know if I hear anything back from the club/police.
  2. You are part of the problem. To sane people, don't pretend you didn't hear it next time. Otherwise what's the point of paying lip-service to anti-racism campaigns? I'm sick to death of the attitudes expressed by people such as yourself. Flame away.
  3. Not a very pleasant story to tell, and I'm copying and pasting from earlier. I apologise in advance for the language used, but it is an accurate portrayal. Lost today, as expected. City fans were twats, some of them, flares thrown into the lower tiers, and I'm not talking trousers. These things bothered me very little. What bothered me were at least two alleged Newcastle fans, ones I've heard a lot of shit from before. "You black cunt" "fuck off back home Yaya" and "Fuck off back to Africa" I probably should have gone straight to report this, but being a daft twat thought I'd confront him. The details are sketchy at this point, but I wasn't injured, merely threatened to have my head kicked in. I may talk tough sometimes, but I'll admit I was fucking terrified. I'm sure I've been more scared, but not very often. Not very long story shortened, I wasn't going back to those seats under any circumstances, there's a bunch of them. I was all for going home, but security/stewards got us a couple of seats at pitch level in the Leazes. They played much better second half and I really didn't give a toss. I don't know the outcome re:the racism, but I know at least one person confirmed the things I heard, and frankly I'm guessing dozens more did. This is the 21st Century. What is wrong with people?
  4. Might be worth putting it into the racism thread. It doesn't surprise me at all as our own club has it's fair share of troglodytes as well, in particular from our very own match goers. Some of the ignorance shown when you're at away games is pathetic too. Cheers, I'll do that. I'm not thinking too straight this afternoon.

Didn't know where to post this, apologies if I've done it wrong. I'm ashamed that I've heard some of this shit before and done nothing but get annoyed. I was also daft not to take it straight to security. This is not who we are, or shouldn't be.
  6. I was hoping that's being sung with tongue in cheek. I can't say anything, being rubbish and watching it on TV.

    Kick It Out

He's raised the issue, you can't expect subtlety from football players. Some t-shirts being worn, nobody would have even noticed for more than 30 seconds.
  8. Ten minutes. Not sure my heart can take this. It's easier when we're getting battered.
  9. Oh man, welling up just watching him. Isn't that just how he always looks? heh. I think he does feel a bit too close to the players.
  10. Oh man, welling up just watching him.
  11. And now, they're doing exactly that. What a mess. Fucking hell. and where are the police in all of this? Terrified I think. A TV clip from Italian news http://video.repubblica.it/edizione/genova/il-miracolo-di-sculli-convince-gli-ultras-e-genoa-siena-riprende/93291/91685
  12. Looks like it. They think they're Ultras.

    St James' Park

“This would never have happened if he hadn’t been in drink." I'm going to assume Chronicle diviness rather than having a thick brief there.
  14. I believe the mackems plan doing something with loads of Sports Direct bags today. Like the place could possibly look more like a huge advert for his tacky shops.
  15. Well deserved by the baggies that. As well as being good for us and very funny.

My nephew saw a "priest" in the distance, but it was all over by we passed. I did smirk at the wreath.

They should sell them in the club shop.

If the police really want to prosecute for graffiti, perhaps they could start with the little shits who hang about in the back lanes of Heaton. Where people can't afford the chemicals needed to remove it.

    St James' Park

It should be "James's" James not being a plural. But since it hasn't been that for easily a century I might have to bow down to the illiterate James'. It's more symbolic anyway, and would need to be carried out quickly. I thought you could just do what you liked at the end of words like James, i.e. James' / James's, it doesn't matter. James's would be correct English. But as it's the name of a place it doesn't really matter no. Anyway, I'm not really going to spray it on, I rarely get that drunk these days, just testing the water. But yes, car spray is a much better idea than house paint. The spray is much quicker, and more difficult to remove. Just putting that out there.

I'd buy him a pint. *edit* as long as he had ID.
