Club simply have to give him 48 hrs to suggest what his intentions are.

Aston Villa appoint Alex McLeish as new manager
Crumpy Gunt replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
Billy Davies t Brum then maybe? Just quit Forest. -
He also likely looking for a contract that will take him up to his 33rd birthday. (He's 29 this month and his current deal runs out a month before his 31st birthday) You can see why Ashley isn't going to be giving him what effectively is another three years on top of his current deal. Barton is similar in a way although he has 12 months remaining and in reality Ashley likely doesn't want to go much beyond a two year extension taking Barton up to being 32? I'd think then 1 yr extensions as per Wengers solution to over 30's. If they earn it they'll get it.

I'm hearing Nolans accepted he's going - sooner rather than later.
-
Perhaps the manager / owners foresee a midfield with both guile and more importantly - pace. Nolan ticks neither box and in my opinion wont be missed.

I've got some ST's not being renewed. They have some canny away day points. Might even be enough for SAFC away. Change address to your own and let me use the ST number for other aways. You can change the name at a later date I'm sure.

"Real radio" priced out of live commentary next season.

on the other hand lost whatever advertising revenue they got from having the games which would be big enough I imagine How much would 3/4 hrs ad revenue bring in? -

Saved £60k + £30k ackem coverage. Wages of two commentators. + wages of two co-commentators. I'd imagine there would be a production crew to pay. Expenses all round for everyone concerned. Minimum 19 away games for each Club - travel expenses /hotels/fuel/train. I reckon they've saved a shitload more than £60k. -

Has anyone worked out the ratio of players from top 4 Clubs who actually do better at NUFC than they did at their previous Club? I would go with the old addage of NEVER buying the top 4 cast offs because they never work and there will be one MASSIVE reason why they are leaving their Club.

Sturridge for £11.5m bid in according to someone on footymad.net. This twitter malarky had Titus dead yesterday Can't see it mesel like - I reckon you'de be looking at at least another £5m on top + Chelsea are managerless. If he's loaned out it would be ideal if we offered him an opportunity.

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)
Crumpy Gunt replied to a topic in Football
What does it say, roughly? Gone from CL to 12th place NUFC who aren't even in Europe. Hasn' heeded Blancs request to think about where they go (in relation to being selected for the national team) I don't think the author is impressed. -

Chronicle haven't a single word about this deal. Surprising as their seems plenty to be going on with the story. Jnr Hoilett interest is their story. -
So, are folk like myself who would prefer to just purchase outright rather than on the drip going to get the same discount?

I've a decent link to the game if it can be put up. Surely links to none British games are allowed? -
I'd bring Berbatov on me like.

Get in - he's just nailed Rose in the back of the old motor.... But hang on, iceberg ahead.

im in, .....Man yoooo Same. I love the way Barcelona play but I don't hate Man Utd as much as I used to and I can't help backing an underdog. In truth I just hope it's a good game and not a complete walkover. This. Man Utd an underdog..? Really!? Barcelona are the favourites are they not? I would say it's a 50-50 between the 2 best teams in the world over the past 10 years or so.. Not at all clear cut iyam.. TITANIC on Ch4 if anyones interested. Its just getting chilly now.

Given Leazes comment on TT I assume this is the latest rumour going about, no chance at all. Ha ha, actually hadn't seen that.

I reckon a daft bid for Zamora would be the order of the day. I reckon £10/£12m could do the trick.

His playing career at Sunderland is not the reason he is regarded as a legend but that alone was impressive as he guided us to our best ever league finish in over 50 years. Maybe it's the fact that we were relegated with the lowest points ever recorded and then he,with the help of others bought Murray out and started establishing us as a club again when it looked like we could easily have done a Sheffield Wednesday and dropped down the leagues,he then found us a billionaire who has actually gave us a chance of achieving something. No man has done more for Sunderland than Quinn has and that's why he is regarded as a legend. It was enough to drive him to drink ..... and drive. Scum.

At last the Club act quickly to replace outgoing Joey Barton. Who cares if he's shit or not.
-
I think Steven Ireland will be an adequate replacement and a good bit younger as well.
