Did themselves proud today and raised a canny racket at times. Considering the match was dogshit in the main I thought it a splendid effort. Credit where it is due. The lesson to learn is not to et any players contract get less than 2 years without them re-signing or being sold. Maybe this is why the 5 yr deals are being handed out. Where did i say anything about where he was going? Its been 8 months at least of him avoiding signing a deal but yeah lets ignore that sort of thing. Awful mate. Only highlight was Krul making a couple of excellent saves and maybe Jose chasing down one of theirs when he was through on goal one on one. The rest was awful and I'll do some the favour of saying conditions weren't at any stage condusive to either side playing decent football. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a rule somewhere thats states so many minutes must be played before the need to refund in negated. It was right to call it off - the ball on the Milburn side especially was just stopping dead.

He probably is shit in comparison to the players ahead of him in the squad/team. I'm all for gving players the chance to prove (or disprove) themselves. Lets hope its the fact he's lacked gametime. Although I can see average being written all over him.
