  1. Didn't Gazza have something to do with them too?
  2. Rio Ferdinand at QPR was always a random move. Feel like Terry at Villa will be too in a few years.
  3. Andy Cole at Man City and Sunderland.
  4. Chris Kiwomya is always the Arsenal random one I think of . His nephew Alex was a Chelsea player until he recently moved to Doncaster after a string of loans. Ah interesting. I never knew that his son died quite suddently either until looking him up just a minute ago. Poor bloke. Good little finisher he was.
  5. Ian Wright played for both West Ham and Celtic after his Arsenal days and they are quite overlook-able. Edit - and Burnley apparently .

  7. Amazing that another manager gets sacked and then moves to a bigger club. Fair play to him.
  8. Possibly - but why give them a reason to kick up a fuss by acting like complete fucking idiots?* *retracted if it’s proven this didn’t happen. These flags have been around a long time now. Certainly many matches with no known incidents. The messages on the flags get more pointed and all of a sudden the guys putting them out are found on the pitch. I'm sure NUFC will have no issue showing the CCTV to demonstrate this. The fact that Wor Flags haven’t denied it themselves, tells me that it probably did happen. Otherwise why wouldn’t they be kicking off? Let's see. If these guys have done 30/40 matches or whatever, why choose now to raise this? I'm sure it's a total coincidence though Because it happened during the last display? So it would be raised now? They couldn’t raise it any sooner. The line from the club is that Wor Flags have known about this for longer than the last few hours. I find it strange that Wor Flags wouldn’t dispute any of this if it was all lies. So there is absolutely no allowance made for the fact that these guys have been impeccable to date then no? Edit - I'm glad you've got so much trust in an institution so reknowned for mistruth. Fair play.

  11. I'm sure it's just an incredible coincidence that this behaviour has been flagged up as a problem straight after the last banner. It's not like there's any reason to distrust Mike Ashley's NUFC.
  12. Hope these lot get their arses handed to them tomorrow.
  13. Aye. I’d say so. Edit - wouldn’t be surprised if the club now want to approve everything a week in advance or something.
  14. I can’t see too much wrong with the Conn article tbh. Healthy scepticism from me but still ABA.

    Footy trivia

26/27 - Jason Puncheon I didn't get. Got them all but might have struggled to come up with Puncheon if I hadn't seem him mentioned by yourself. Would've thought Carrick would have weighed in with more than 24 goals through his whole career.

Off the top of my head, they've made money on PvA, Coates and Pickford (if you allow for the fact he was home-grown) lately. Maybe Whickham too depending on how far you wanna go back.
  17. I think Lejeune reads the game a lot better, Clark seems to get caught out of position an awful lot. I think Lejeune has the makings of a really good defender but he needs a 3 month run as a starter. He's not looked fit since Kane crocked him and it's a risk giving him that run now imho due to how slow he looked when he last came back from injury. I'd be looking to next season for him at this stage. Just hope we're a premiership side then.
  18. The future looks bleak as fuck in most scenarios tbh. Even if Rafa keeps us up I can't see him hanging around for another season under Ashley. Agree with that but my gut feel is that they'll get back around the negotiating table come the end of the season and that may keep Rafa at the club. The minute he hears that the deal is not going to be revived then he'll be gone, after the last two windows.
