  1. How much are season tickets in the platinum? Around £880-900. At least they were when I was in there. Are they generally available pre-season or likely to be sold out? Plenty of availability there. It's cheaper if you sit in either of the wing sections than it is in the centre sections. You used to get a free program in there as well but they stopped that a couple of seasons ago. Cheers.

  4. Yeah - I guess it's not completely unthinkable. You've just got to hope that Kodija guy doesn't get injured/suspended as he their only source of goals at the minute.
  5. With only 21 points to pay for, that's a huge ask. You're basically relying on Villa winning every game and then Fulham and Sheff Weds losing 3 and drawing a couple. From teams that are in broadly decent form, I'd say that's a stretch.

She's just lucky Adam Johnson's behind bars, he'd have probably pulled her around the back of the pie stand and slapped her with his cock.
  7. A left back with some end product would be a top priority for me. I know for sure that we had a deal agreed for Jetro Willems had we survived so wonder if we might revive that avenue?

All I'm talking about is them making the top 6 to block the potential return of the scum. It's hardly unthinkable, they were in the top six a couple of years ago under SMc IIRC and were a premiership side not too long ago.

Tend to agree with this and I backed them to survive only last week having been burned so many times in recent years. I tell you one thing, I wouldn't want to be in the Championship next season. Not a chance. You'll have the three decent relegated sides coming down, a resurgent Villa who are going to end up a bit unlucky not to make the play offs this time, Norwich who are never down there long and three good teams who will miss out via the this years play offs. Fuck that. The Mackems won't come straight back up under Moyes imho. Add Reading, Leeds, Sheffield wed, Fulham with villa and Norwich, and probabl hull and Boro, all those teams will all end this season in better shape that they will. They could be down there for years. Yep. Also Derby will be stronger next year too. Aye, and then there's always the surprise package, someone like brum, forest or wolves could quite easily get their shit together. Not selling Defoe looks like a daft move now, he leaves for free, that money saved on wages and transfer fee buys them two decent players next season. Kone value will have nosedived , they'll be lucky to get £12m for him, a lot of that lost on getting him to sign a new deal, again hasn't been worth it. Pickford is the only one where they are going to get a good fee imo, even then it will be around £15m. Agreed - They were a bit 'damned if they do, damned if they don't' in respect of Defoe but, looking at it from a purely financial perspective, they've screwed the pooch. This imho is poetic justice for staying up last season at the expense of any morals or dignity by knowing they were playing a nonce for purely financial gain. They suspended him and rushed him back to generate circa 11 points off the back of that call. I still can't believe more wasn't made of that by the FA. The decision should've resulted in a FA Investigation. Margeret Burn took one for the team with the resignation and I'd hazard a guess she got paid to sacrifice herself. Odd's on them resigning AJ? They're just the cunts to do something like that. Edit - you're also bang on about the surprise packages. They happen every year in this league. None of us would've expected Huddersfield or Reading to be doing so well if you asked for a set of predictions back in early August. Reading were 17th last year and Huddersfield 19th.
  10. Martin Hardy is fairly well connected iirc. My biggest fear is that there'll be a fall out this summer. Its ok the club saying that he's got control but we all know that what they say and what they deliver are two completely different things. Rafa won't stand for any of that nonsense. They need him more than he needs them. He bucks the managerial trend under Ashley's reign and I fear Ashley won't like that. We really need something to kick off over at Sports Direct to divert the fat cunt's attention and leave those running the club to be directed by Rafa because the minute he gets involved it all goes to shit.
  11. Harry Maguire sounds like he should have played for Burnleys 1914 FA Cup winning team. Oldest sounding player in the world.

Regarding Andy Cole. Talk about right player, right club and right time. When all of those things come together it's absolutely splendid. What a player he was for us. I had season tickets in the milburn paddock during his heydey and it was a privilege to see him play. Explosive just doesn't cut it. He must have given so many defenders nightmares back then.

Yeah, his career went off the rails a bit. Hold on, that's a bit harsh.
  17. I'd be gutted if he left Soccer Saturday. Love Jeff Stelling. He's the only reason to watch it. Even without it's still a mile better than the dribblers on BT and morose cast of Final Score. True but it'd be a massive drop in quality if Jeff left imho. of course. That bloke who does the midweek one is awful. Yeah - he's shocking. So rigid.

Yeah - agree with this. Think he's been a bigger miss than Shelvey was when suspended tbh.
  21. He looks good value at that fee.

Overlooking the fact that their club abandoned all sense of moral jurisdiction in playing him last season to stay up. If they'd done the honourable thing they would be in the Championship this season.

Gareth Fucking Southgate. What a boring, uninspiring shithouse of an appointment.
