Fear for WBA. They were diabolical today. We've just been humped off Everton and they turn up looking for a draw.

That final execution will always be the problem with him. Soooooo many opportunities to do something and he'd make the wrong decision or bollocks up that final pass/move. He's certainly making more effort generally speaking when compared to other years though so to that.

Excellent first half. He's got a bag of golf clubs in those boots.

I can't disagree with his approach to subs too much. I wouldn't have rushed to make too many changes as we were in total control for the most part.

You, sir. You are insane. What's the alternative? Let him support someone else? That wouldn't feel right. I'm born and bred as a Tynesider, my family all bleed black and white, my grandfather and great uncles were present for Fair Cup finals. He would be the first male in my family to change football teams. It's no small thing that you know. You still living in the North East? No.

Has GNev been sacked?

Doumbia not going to start.

He's never worth that imho.

It's a very good piece that. I have that 'it wasn't always like this' conversation with my son pretty much weekly when all of the kids at school who support Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs Liverpool and more latterly Man City look forward to bragging about trophies, finals, wins etc etc etc. I told him about the Asprilla hatrick against Barcelona the other day. His face was priceless. As though it was make believe. Part of me hates that I've done this to him. Effectively forced him into being a NUFC fan but I've done it in the blind hope that one day, just one day, we somehow get it right and return to the good old days and then I can be proud of my decision and he can be proud to say he's a NUFC Supporter.

He's not even worth £20m. Totally mental not to accept that money if true.

Tony Pulis can fuck off. There's not one name that's been linked that is remotely inspiring.

He's a real loss this kid.

Can't imagine young Jonjo would be too impressed to see Brenda rock up

 Sad but true.

It looks like everyone at Villa is switching off, I can see Norwich winning. Villa have been better in the league recently and were definitely the better team until Ayew got himself sent off through the week. I can see them beating Norwich but I hope Norwich win. We are playing much, much better of late, but still can't win games. And I guess Ayew will be a loss too. Kind of nullifies you guys a bit doesn't it? Just a bit. Here is our list of fit strikers at the moment: Agbonlahor. That's it. On the bright side he's...............erm.............tried and tested........

Nil is a given and Berahino will probably get the winner in the last minute. Yep - this does feel fairly likely.

Get beat here and put a fork in us.

Not a fan at all but I'd broadly say he's been better overall this season than last.

He actually asked the Lino if he was offside as soon as the ball went out. I think that impacted his decision/played on his mind and f***ed his execution. You might point to the fact that a striker should be ice cold mind, and you'd have a point. I still think he's got masses of ability and like the guy. I sense that goals will certainly come but, there's no question, we need them urgently now. Don't agree with that at all. He looked over in pure hope that he was offside as he knew he had just missed a complete sitter. Fair enough. Game of opinions. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt given he's young, from a very different league, first time playing in England and he's shown flashes of good play.
