  1. hes not gonna say most of my players are shit and I need at least 8 is he, esp when you want the players you have got to carry on till the new players come in
  2. That's easy: The club's latest statements contradict their statements before the closing of the transfer window. Now we know that they lied. And we've all seen the interview with Keegan where he said the final decision to sell Milner was his. More lies? i honestly dont think the major falling out was over milner. i think it was more likely over the barton/ owen/ xisco/ gonzalez end day antics of the board We might never know for sure, but if people are accusing the board of telling lies about transfer policy then they also need to look at Keegan's part in keeping the pretense going. If the populist view is to be believed then Keegan had little or no say in transfers for 8 months, but chose to go along with it. We all know what Keegan is like and there is no way IMO that he would have stayed or stayed quiet for that length of time if he wasn't ok with the situation, and he certainly wouldn't have lied to the fans to cover for Ashley and co. if it was as bad as is being made out and he was genuinely unhappy. Errr, or how about the view Keegan came in at the end of a transfer window, was promised funds and control of transfers in the summer - the summer came and over the next couple of months it became clear to Keegan that actually he actually wasn't in control culminating in the sale of Milner, the attempted sale of Owen and the bringing in of two players that he didn't sanction which was the final straw for him? Truth or fiction? Who knows, nobody actually knows but some on here seem to have made up facts out of nothing. Thats just about how I see it, given the choice of believing Keegan who has always been straight or Ashley, wise etc it seems a bit of a no brainer,
  3. Can you name those 15 teams? not of the top of my head, it was in the papers and on tv at the end of the window
  4. I really doubt that you can We'll see soon enough won't we. If this board stays in place, I'm sure they won't make a mistake with the next guy they bring in. Then we'll see soon enough how the playing staff evolves. I'm just bringin up a point of discussion which is very, very plausible, bt because it isn't in line with the KK lovefest, you're getting frustrated. Sucks for you. You rubbish what I say then in return exclaim that it was due to the fact the board were too stingy. Well can you offer any proof of that? No you can't can you. Ridiculous. How much did we actually spend in the last transfer window? nothing! infact we made a profit. 15 teams in the PL spent a lot more than us, so yes I would say that was stingy. Now can you actually prove any of that drivel you spouted in the opening post. No you can't can you. Ridiculous. How much money, how much money, how much moeny ... First of all, a succesful window is not judged by how much money was spent, but the number of quality players that were broguht in. I have been extremely happy with every single player brought in this summer. Don't hold it against the club, because they were able to identify good players who hardly cost us anything. Secondly, I would argue that we would probably have been able to bring in more of these types of players i.e. younger, more promising types who don't cost the Earth, if there wasn't this squabbling all summer. Im more than happy with the players brought in (just not enough), what Im saying is you have no proof that more players would have come in if Keegan had let them, you could just as well say more players would have come in if Wise and Co had sold the club better to potential targets. you have no proof for your opening post at all its just pointless

  6. why on earth would Owen sign a new contract after the deadline day fiasco, when in 3 months he can have his pick of who he wants to go to on a free with a big signing on fee
  7. If wise is buying selling players that he wants then in effect he is already the manager anyone that comes in will be a puppet. What a depressing thought Dennis Wise Newcastle manager
  8. so exactly how many times are you just gonna bend over
  9. why do I fucking bother supporting this club we just go from one glorius fuckup to another totally pissed off
  10. I really dont see whats wrong with the scouting/contracts etc team being under and answerable to the manager not the other way around as weve got it, after all if we get relegated its the manager who gets the blame, not the people who sold/bought the players without the managers consent
  11. and would Hiddink agree to letting Wise decide what players can come and go? no matter what he wants
  12. I think hes been told hes getting x amount of players in and there was a good replacement for Milner, which hes told us in good faith only to find out on deadline day that not only isnt he getting those players but weve had a bid for Barton which we're accepting if Barton agrees
  13. Mark youve got skyplus, fast forward to 12 and tell me who weve bought so I can go to bed
  14. If we hadnt played everyone for a draw under SA we would already be a top 5-8 team
  15. "It's fantastic isn't it. I have had lunch with him - I have had fantastic lunches this week at the training ground. We have had Modric there with Thierry Henry, Deco has been in for a meal... "Unfortunately, that's fantasy football. Back to reality, the only time we will really be able to say what we are doing is when we fetch people in. It is easy to target people. The Henry story, I went to a talk-in and a 10-year-old kid asked me: 'If you could fetch one player to Newcastle United, who would that be?', and I said Thierry Henry because I think he is the best player the Premier League has ever had. From that, we are now signing him, which is fantastic, really."
  16. what a load of bollocks they get as many hits because they have more info/news about the club than any other nufc fans site. there opinions are just that, theres a lot they spout I dont agree with but its there site and I dont see any problem with them voicing them.
  17. My choice for what its worth Harper Beye Faye Cacapa Enrique Milner Barton Geremi Duff Martins Owen
  18. I can see us getting at least 20 points out of our remaining games Not worried about relegation in the slightest
  19. Same as that, I think its the midfield that needs sorting
  20. seeing as its silly season Berbatov, Carrick, Arteta would do for this window
  21. Cheers, I remember seeing it but all the games seem to blur together
