Another brain dead fucking "stop oil" nonce about?
-
Antony, Moussa Diaby, Sofiane Diop, Noa Lang all more exciting options than an over paid, over hyped Man Utd flop.
-
wtf Everton. That was nearly the same team that played against us.
-
It wasn't even a 6 month spell It was like 8 or 9 games, and he faded a lot at the end of his loan. We should get a young talented player in to compete with Fraser and ASM. Murphy and Almiron are ok as 4th and 5th choice unless we can move them on.
-
That's just the initial fee. Assumed to be doubled if we stay up. Trippier is also a short term fix. Older players cost less. We're building for the future in the summer.

Straight out hate aside (assuming there is a lot of it on twitter), I don't feel it's too much to ask that he passes the ball more often and get up from his ass instead of sitting down and shouting to the ref while opposing team is counter attacking X times a game. Just by doing that he'd be a big improvement in general, not only the last few games.
-
Pretty much. I didn't think much of it as it happened, but looking at the replay, if ASM had his foot on the ground when that tackle hit, his leg would be snapped in half.
-
I was hoping for less hoofing with the midfield Howe put out yesterday. We controlled large parts of the game, but it was very much side ways passes at the back for a long period followed by a hoof towards Wood who was not able to keep possession.

Deep down I don't think Everton ever could get relegated with that squad. This game will have shown their players the effort they need to put in to win and I think it'll be a turn in their performances this. Gut wrenching that it had to be against us, 11v10 just the icing on the cake. I was happy with the fight we showed in the first half. Not so much in the second. Everton wanted it more than us today.

Allan about to cry.

This game will never end, will it?
-
Is it a zip tie around his own neck?
-
I enjoyed that more than most 0-0 halfs tbh. Two teams duking it out. We knew Everton would battle for every ball this game. Pleased to see our players are up for a scrap.
-
Dare I say it...but..good ref? Letting play continue far more than usual creates a great tempo in the match.

Burn determined to end his career with brain damage
-
He'd be on the ground sulking and crying to the ref for any nippy tackle Everton puts in. He'll be better served against tired legs.

Rested due to playing a lot of games over a short period of time would be my guess. Manquillo coming back from injury is probably also rested. -

Is Maupay the worst first choice striker in the league?
-
Understandable that he insisted on a release clause, and that he wanted to play regularly. I wish Benitez would have played him more despite the form Shelvey and Diame was in. It's a bit hypocritical since I haven't really been that fussed about Bruno not getting much game time due to an unexpectedly good midfield trio, but I guess the difference is when Merino was here, we had no chance on getting someone better in. If Bruno had gone into a hissy fit during this period and wanted out I believe we are now capable of getting someone equal or better in to replace him.
