He's doesn't have the awareness of players around him. Keep losing the ball to players closing him down from behind. Always plays the ball backwards. So weird to see him in a more defensive role than Hayden when you look back at his goals for us and Blackpool where he needs to be facing the opposition goal when he receives the ball to make something happen.

It's quite funny to watch the matches on TV these days when the result is irrelevant. Good relief to just laugh at the misery and to observe and speculate on how much worse can it possibly get. The worst part is hearing the experts in the studio be completely out of touch with the fans, and just play on the old stereotypes which in terms forms the opinion of other clubs' fans who's knowledge of the club is limited to what they hear on match days, but for the most part only follow their own club on a day to day basis.

Brought in two Leicester defenders for my FPL team ahead of this round so fully expecting us to get a flukey goal at the end of the match when Leicester is already comfortably in the lead by 2 goals or more.

He was fairly new to management, his previous experience was with a club that bought players as if they were cheating on FM. He had no experience on how it is to manage a struggling club with low morale, which had to sell their best players after relegation. Lots of clubs struggle to turn their fortunes around after getting relegated and he only survived until mid/end September in the Championship. It's just my opinion though. I can certainly understand why people draw conclusions on his abilities by this point.

Ashley gave Hughton pretty much what he wanted too to get up last time we got relegated, so that he gave Rafa what he wanted to get us up is not an indication of his intent or ambition had we stayed up. It just confirms what we all know, that Ashley needs the club to stay in the Premier League.

TBF winning the league with Molde those years weren't hard with the amount of investment they had. They were the Norwegian equivalent to Man City. That being said, I think it's unfair to judge him based on how he did with Cardiff. They had a woeful squad and any manager would have struggled to keep them up. This is the first season, in my eyes at least, that he can be properly judged as a manager. A good manager should be able to get that squad into the top 5 by the end of the season, a great one into top 4. So far he's not doing very well.

Equally sad to read as it's good to read. Hope you find something else you and your daughter can enjoy together as a substitute until the club is back to something we can all rally behind.

Fully expect you to be on here defending your son in 11-12 years time HTT when he's made it into the first team.

ASM was brought in early for the second time already. After the match this weekend there were reports that he felt a small strain. It's written in the stars that if Bruce pushes his luck and uses him this weekend he will get injured again. He needs proper rest and rehabilitating training until the medical team is confident he is fully healed (which is normally some time AFTER the player feels ok). For Bruce's sake I hope his desperation drives him to sacrifice ASM for a third time in a row only to have it bite him in the ass afterwards. For ASMs health and future sake I hope he's rested and comes back stronger.

Would be quite funny if the conclusion of Bruce's re-evaluation of playing on the front foot was to axe Almiron for someone else and that's it. Still don't understand who could possibly replace him unless he's going to risk ASM once again unless he's planning to play three central midfielders with Atsu behind Joelinton on top. Either way my pop corn will be ready for sunday evening.

My feeling too Bellars. Not sure if it'll help much since we're going to stop playing our exciting brand of front foot football now, but in theory performance should improve if Ki and Hayden starts next match.

Gonna be a hoot watching these players playing with their heels only next match.
