  1. Could have had a few here, lets hope we don't regret this and the awful ref decision.
  2. All ipswich at the minute. Need a 2nd I think before half time.
  3. The combination between your user name and this message is perfect
  4. I really want him to be a success for us, he needs a run in the side to get into gear. He's always on the whole impressed me on the pitch, yes he's missed a few chances here and ther (but which striker hasn't ?) and his discipline is a big issue but he is still very young and has plenty a time on his hands to develop. However clearly Rafa doesn't see a place here for him, he doesn't seem to fit the way he wants to play, maybe that stance may change over time, maybe the words Saivet used when he left that rafa told him the championship wasn't a place for foreigners, also applies to Mitro. But if he just doesn't fancy him, then better for both parties that we move on.

The FA need to give him some form of ban from football. They are basically condoning his actions if not. Here's been proven to be at best a little bit dodgy, they've given him a handsome pay off, they compensated Sunderland for taking him in the first place, now he gets the chance to get another signing on free plus I'm sure an improved contract to what he was on before. From a financial viewpoint he's laughing. Should be banned from all forms of football in England for this season and possibly next imo, although I'm extremely biased
  6. Preston are playing really well right now, another win. Those two games (back to back ?) we have against them coming up will be tough, got a feeling we'll lose one of them.
  7. Looked over a few threads, you would think they were in Villa's position rather than in 2nd place. I diodn't realise Neil was getting as much stick as it appears on there. One thing the mention is thy believe there problem is closing out games (I'm not sure how much real evidence there is of this, our game against them and Fulham is all I can think of, and in our game they were lucky to even be in the match let alone leading it in the closing stages). This is not a problem for us since Rafa came in, always been pretty confident that if we get a lead we'll generally go on and win, the Villa game is the only one I can recall that that hasn't happened.
  8. That's also nearly as many as they've scored all season. Things still looking rosy all across the board. Scoring loads, conceding few, and outpassing and outshooting opponents both home and away. A little dependent on Gayle for goals perhaps , but we've got the best manager in the league if we need a workaround there. Buying in January is also an option if something serious were to happen. Our biggest win and best performance of the season was achieved without him in the side. Not belittling the job Gayle has done, but we are creating a lot of chances, I'm more concerned with an injury to Shelvey than Gayle though TBH.
  9. Yep despite his Mackem history, I always liked the bloke, perhaps if we hadn't beat them every year when he was in charge my opinion would have changed

Are the mackems as thick as mince or what, this guy's trying to claim we are riding our luck right now have a paper thin squad and the "wheels apparently will fall off anytime soon", there has literally been zero research take place in this wonderful summation. Check out the lovely Everton fan on that thread too, we've got two of the best Evertonians that frequent on here, thank god we don't have that bitter little twat. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/norwich.1287359/page-2 "I'll bite then. You have a bigger pool of players, but the line up tonight on the BBC you must have less than 150 Championship appearances combined in that starting 11. Looking at the bench I don't think any of them have kicked a ball in the Championship before this season. Compare that to Norwich who have several players of vast experience at the Championship level as well as a manager who has gained promotion before from that division. It is going well at the minute but the wheels will fall off"

rivalry aside- it will be for the best, like us, a stint in re-hab detoxing the club. Their situation is a lot different to ours, as was mentioned we had Rafa, if they go down Moyes will have been sacked before that's happened. Unless they pick up a awesome replacement who will be happy to manage them in the championship. It'll not be a given that they'll bounce straight up. They don't really have very many big money generating potential sales, they might get 5 mill here and there for some of their players, but they'll find it difficult to generate any additional funds beyond the parachute payments. They are also not in as secure a financial place as we were. I am not being in anyway biased here at all but I honestly think our Championship squad has more quality and is deeper than their PL one. They absolutely can not afford to drop down, unless a new owner comes in and splashes the cash. Having said all that, I'm not sure at all that they will drop, despite the woeful start, one win and a draw could see them out of the zone, the bottom of the PL is pretty abysmal this year, once again they've lucked out. Burnley, Hull and Boro, the 3 promoted teams must be the worst 3 that have gone up in a number of years, I expect them all to drop straight down again.
  12. That's great to hear, we have to keep this guy fit, he's irreplaceable at the moment, although at some point Rafa will need to think about resting him.
  13. I love the championship for this reason, it's always just a couple of days till the next game, except when it's the fucking stupid arsing international break
  14. An interesting bet that. Who will score more this season Gayle or Sunderland He's scored more goals than 9 PL teams have and the same number as his for club have scored so far. It's crazy really.
  15. The highlights made it look all Barnsley with us scoring a couple of goals against the run of play !!
  16. For is forrin based folks he's a link that works: http://eachgoal.com/2016/10/barnsley-vs-newcastle-united-0-2-highlights/
  17. Think us, Norwich and Brighton will dance around the top 3 positions until the end of the season. Yep, Brighton look strong. Brum and Sheff wed are the only two teams we've not played in the top bit of the league and they have both been putting some impressive results together. Still a lot of sides at the top, and not very happy that villa got a last minute win, that may be a springboard for them. But if we can pound out another 4 or 5 wins on the bounce, don't think anyone will knock us off the top again all season.
  18. I am happy to admit I was totally wrong about him. Thought it was a bad signing at the time, but his record is amazing, we are creating plenty of chances in games, which is a great sign but every team needs a striker that can take those chances, he's been fantastic so far. 11 Goals by mid October, that's probably more than Sunderland have scored all season !!
  19. They are setting a remarkable pace, to be honest a draw away from home wouldn't be too bad a result tonight but they won't let that be the case by just not stop winning. With the personnel we have, away to Barnsley on their current run, a point would be a poor return. Perhaps but they will have raised their game for us, for sure, we could have expected Fulham to have held Norwich, they certainly did better against us than they obviously tonight. I just think, win your homes and draw your away games over the course of the season, and you hit your target of 2pts per game.
  20. They are setting a remarkable pace, to be honest a draw away from home wouldn't be too bad a result tonight but they won't let that be the case by just not stop winning.
  21. Wow you got to hand it to Norwich, it's just relentless by them, if we hadn't come back to beat them they would have been on some winning run.
  22. Best signing of the summer for me so far, from pretty low expectations, the guy has been class.
