Gordon not quite earning his place so far
-
So still a scam then. You wouldn't buy the properties if you can't receive the income.
-
Have they not also arranged the deal so they keep the hotel income?
-
Well there's a surprise. https://www.theguardian.com/football/article/2024/jun/07/liverpool-chairman-tom-werner-determined-to-see-premier-league-games-in-usa
-
Anxious every time I log in. Keep expecting thread to be renamed "Bruno Guimaraes - Manchester City/Real Madrid submit £100 million bid" and my heart sinks.
-
Or feels guilty about his impending departure
-
Yeah that doesn't make sense. Allowance in real terms has shrunk substantially.
-
I had to look that up. Jesus christ. It's fucking scandalous what Chelsea are getting away with. Honestly, wish we would just say fuck the rules at this point. We've played this way too nice.
-
Which let's be honest, is no longer possible. Our best players will eventually get picked off by the superleague cartel without a significant boost to income. Unfortunately I can't see this playing out in our favour anytime soon.
-
So basically our upper limit is likely 4-6th. What a joke.
-
Be surprised if he makes the Euro squad

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2024/06/02/uefa-super-league-aston-villa-not-ollie-watkins-offers-psr/ Too late for us of course. That £30m plus Man U got for a worse performance than us was fucking scandalous, and like the assortment of other rules, is nothing more than a scheme to keep other clubs in their place. I assume Chelsea have got away with their hotel selling scam as well. As a rule, the tag Big Six should be prohibited on this forum. Gives them too much respect. Instead use Cartel Six, Sly Six or even Scum Six!
-
Disappointing, but we can't compete in any way with Chelsea in terms of salary and location. And trophy winning potential too tbh.
-
Yeah, I agree. Think it's more likely we'll not have Bruno next season. Could really dampen the mood of the fans if we don't bring in a strong replacement.
-
Yeah, Bruno to City wouldn't surprise me at all. You just wonder if Isak will want to stick around if that happens.
-
City fans seem convinced he's on his way there.
-
So Paqueta allegedly tried to manipulate play for the purposes of betting? That's a much greater offence than Tonali's, no? Should be a 1.5-2 year ban.
-
Jesus they're utterly deranged on redcafe. Now complaining we're using the press. Ermm, that's precisely what Man U were doing to kick all this off. In order, they have... 1. Disrupted our Dof via the press 2. Made a secret approach without contacting the club 3. Offered compensation below what we'd paid Brighton (who we formally approached and kept it all above board) 4. Publicly complained to the media that we wouldn't just give in to their ridiculous demands and very poor behaviour. What the fuck do they expect All they had to do was go through proper channels and not offer derisory, loss making compensation. Basically don't be cunts.
-
Not sure where to place. What a load of bollocks. City essentially had an unlimited budget. Our spending remains severely constrained unless we sell our best players. https://www.football365.com/news/opinion-premier-league-23-24-season-losers-kompany-ten-hag-newcastle

You speak as if we're in. Man Utd could deny us next weekend.

Chelsea winning urgh. We threw the chance of 6th and guaranteed Europe away. Not winning this today. We're too sloppy and slow. -

Gordon out then ffs That should-have-been-a-penalty incident could be the moment our European hopes died.
