Villa have scored more points than us since Emery started coaching them. And that was before today.
-
Humiliating this. Emery is looking a cut above Howe since he joined Villa.
-
There's a vicious hatred of NUFC on the Villa forums tbh. One prominent poster called for anti-Saudi terrorists to blow up St James and our fans. Joking or not, that's the sort of hatred you expect from the mackems.
-
Villa and Emery have gave us a proper hiding today. They'll be a threat to 4th - possibly more so than Spurs
-
Tactically they're killing us. We should be at least 2-0 down.
-
Getting completely outclassed here. Emery has the beatings of Howe big time.

Think Villa will be well confident about this. Would happily take a draw. -
Would prefer Madrid for the upgraded Bernabeu alone. My god it's stunning. And has a city location too.

Think we'll have Spurs no problem, but leaning towards defeat here. Emery is at least on par with Howe tactically and can see Villa suppressing our play. -
Don't think it's always guaranteed for away games. Suppose it depends on the host club giving permission for a cameraman.

Guardiola is one of the more likeable managers and doesn't regularly act the complete bellend like Klopp and (more recently) Ten Hag, and even the fans seem generally decent. But would still rather the Arse win the league as one club's dominance is never healthy.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

If we hadn't lost Isak for four months, we'd possibly be 7-10 points better off by now as well. Mental. -

He looked a bit upset afterwards when Howe was having a serious looking word. -

Holy shit, top half below City/Arse is now looking as tight as bottom half. Tomorrow is a must win, otherwise a couple of losses could leave us level with Villa and in 7th come end of month. Villa seem to be going through the same phase we did post-Xmas last season. -
Such kindness from the villa fans https://www.villatalk.com/topic/23986-weekends-football-31-march2-april/page/11/#comments

Ah fucks sake. It's happening again where we can't put it away. Only a matter of time before Man U break and score. -

Think Rashford is nailed on to score again tomorrow. Don't think we'll beat them, but manage a score draw. -
Honestly, how? I keep seeing predictions from our own fans and others that we'll soon splash the cash big time. We're a least a couple of years off having the requisite income - that's assuming the PL doesn't block lucrative sponsorships.
-
Was at least expecting a £30 mill a season official tyre partner! Seriously though, our transfer spending could be severely limited for a few years yet.
-
Not the ground name though
-
Qualifying for CL this season would only allow for extra spending in 2025 summer window, surely? Or can you spend on anticipated CL income? Otherwise we're limited to any extra commercial income we bring in by the summer, and more likely competing with Everton, West Ham and Leeds on purchasing power. Don't know why other fans believe we're going to splash the cash big time when we're seemingly a long way off being able to do so.

Poor show from Bruno that. Michael Owen would have dribbled through the lot, smashed it top corner and left those little punks in tears
