Not getting the rub of the green at all this season are we.

Fucking infuriating that that scandalous penalty has likely cost us progress and what, £20m at least?
-
Dubravka a doubt for tomorrow

Knackered, injury ridden squad or not, this week has shown he has some way to go to being a top tier manager like Klopp, Guardiola and Emery.

Was hoping to see Barnes/ Don't think those two will make much a difference today. -
Without the 10 point deduction, Everton could have gone above us this month

Guardian questioning whether Howe's playing style is sustainable https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/dec/09/howe-ditch-cup-ambitions-newcastle-running-on-empty Seems to suggest we recently succeeded through intensity only, rather than any tactical nous.

Kinda written off most games until the new year. Don't think any club could cope with 11 players missing. Just looking for damage limitation tomorrow. -
The likes of Arsenal have had it their own way for too long, and won't be devastated to miss out on CL to Villa so long as we don't lose Bruno. Would be excellent of both us and Villa deprived the breakaway 6 of the CL mind.
-
This is horrible this like. Another very tough game on Sunday, then yet another on Wednesday. And the the two matches per week continues right through into the new year. All likely with the same weary 11
-
Spurs will annihilate us on this away form. Dreaful.

Jesus christ, hope we don't pick up any new injuries. It's staggering that no one has returned yet. -
Need Villa to have a good old injury crisis. Think they've only got 1 or 2 players missing, so otherwise plentiful strength and depth to call on. Suppose it's pretty impressive where we are with what is it, 10 key players missing.
-
I guess you've never glanced at the Villa forums? They'd pretty much be delighted if St James' was blown up with 52,000 geordies inside. Ok, maybe just a slight exaggeration of the hatred.... but they probably sit second behind the mackems.

Currently expecting Pool, City, Arse, then one of us, Man U, Villa, and Spurs for 4th. Villa looking by far the best bet right now. -
Looks like villa are here to stay this season. Could deprive us of champions league
-
If Liverpool win the title
-
Would like Villa to get battered with a couple of injuries thrown in, but looks like they've got City at the best time, so think they'll take 3 points at home again. Liverpool will no doubt get a spawny late win.
-
It's beginning to feel like no one is ever coming back from injury ever again.
