Don't agree there. For one, we don't have the budget to remain within top 5 consistently, and the occasional CL windfall is just a financial sticking plaster. Would prefer the reward of actually winning something.

We were on a weekend break away for the match. Didn't even cross my mind we could be in a final yet again when it was booked. Luckily we found a pub with the game on. By about the 20th minute, I started to believe this might not be the usual Wembo 2-0 defeat. We were the fucking superior team! Was struggling to cope when they got the goal. Had to go and stand outside, looking back at the TV through the window. My wife's abiding memory is of me getting further away until I was across the god damn street. Doubt anything will ever come close to that ever again.
