Newcastle United 4-4 Luton Town (03/02/24) | Reaction: pg40

It doesn't mean that Luton won't snatch the winning goal either -
I'm desperate for Howe to stay with us, but fuck me, persisting with certain players when they're getting massacred on the pitch is troubling.

joke. we're going to lose this. Though we were getting back to are better days as well. -
I'd honestly rather just leave him out at this stage.

Sounds like his groin again? If so, his reaction doesn't bode well and looks like another long-term absence.

See you again in March, Alex

Worry we're gonna get crucified. Can't believe our midfield has been threadbare for what, 4 months now? Sick of it. And trying again not to get angry over Tonali -

We are quite genuinely rather shit at the moment -
Almost desensitised to it now. Losing a player to a terrible injury is now the norm, and getting through an entire month without yet another devastating injury blow is like winning a trophy.

Anderson is still six weeks away, is he not? Barnes injury is highly susceptible to reoccurring, and can see Willock dropping in and out of availability like Wilson.
-
Turf toe (which I'd never heard of either), looks like a rare, debilitating long-term injury, so explains the long absence, and would be surprised if he features much again this season. Likewise with Willock - achilles are a bad one, so expecting limited game time. Hope I'm wrong.

So, another week and another long-term injury.
