  1. This guy should be coming on regularly, as should Sammy, Tavernier (who got loaned out), Ferguson and Dummet.

However, thanks to the way we play i.e. never being comfortable in any game, ever. We never have the luxury of giving them a run out.

This guy can play, always like him when he's played. Doesn't play with any hesitancy or fear, and tries to make things happen.

  2. You couldn't put him first choice with Colo in there, though. Just a really dangerous combination.

That I can understand and accept, but with Colo out MYM has to be in there.

We're pretty safe this season, and so we should be playing him, Ben Arfa, Marveaux, and even Obertan (albeit not from the start). Time to give some of these guys more game time, so by the end of the season we know if they've really got it or not.

All this faffing about and playing Shola who has universally been accepted as a poor footballer with no room for improvement is beyond me.

  3. With Colo out, Mapou should be the first central defender on the teamsheet, because he gives us something different from the other two i.e. Willo and Taylor. He should be partnering one of them. As Willo has done well most of thie season it should be him.

Besides when they were forced to play together it looked a nicely balanced partnership.

I just don't understand a thing Pardew is doing. Nothing.

As many have said he's just playing Taylor purely because he's British/Geordie.

Unfortunately we're not a good enough team to do such things just for the hell of it!

I've said it a couple of times but I think he's just playing him because he probably kicked off and threatened to leave since he wasn't playing or anywhere near the team even when fit previously. With colo uncertainty/injury issues and the probability of a replacement near nil he can't really afford to lose any of Willo MYM or Taylor. Don't agree with said policy but its my view of how it is.

But how wrong is it that all you have to do is throw a tantrum, to get in the team ahead of someone more deserving? It's just poor management, based off of fear and a lack of a spine. Pardew's specialties.

  5. Problem is a couple of the players who would help us grind out a result are also missing, not just Cabaye and Remy who could win it for us. Can't see anything but a mauling unfortunately.

Can't even really blame Pardew for this one, other than for being a tit in general. Far too many players missing to have a hope in hell.

That's noble of you TRon, but I'd like to go ahead and blame him anyway.

Marveaux would be more ready to contribute if he had been kept involved to some degree.

Ben Arfa could be be more of a threat and x factor, giving us some chance, if he had been managed better this season, and just allowed to play.

I'd have felt a lot better about our chances defensively if Mapou had been left to build on the good partnership he had going with Williamson, instead of being shunted out to accommodate of all people on this earth, Steven Taylor.

Still not happy about anything Pardew I'm afraid. I can hear his sorry excuses post thumping already. Urgh.

  6. Great! Fantastic judgement by Pardew again! He is just crap at everything!

 Come on man, for starters its League 1 for crying out loud and with Debuchy here he's not gonna get a look in.

Sorry, I'm having a bad day okay? Just get off my back already!

  7. I get the feeling this guy is just involved with a bunch of other stuff, and doesn't really know what the hell is going on at the club.

Problem is, he only employs people he deems his friends, and therefore people he supposedly trusts.

Most of these lot are clueless about football though. Really don't think he isn't trying to get players. I think he does provide a budget.

Llambias was just a ball busting strong headed roulette spinning punk, that always had to win each deal, while Joe Kinnear was just taking advantage, and getting a free ride.

The only time someone sensible was involved was under Mort, and things went okay then.

Mort was a good communicator and a decent PR man. But it was his strategic review of the club that led to the club implementing a structure that had a DOF and, of course, Dennis Wise getting that role.

There wasn't really much wrong with that structure in theory. The appointments however were all wrong.

Exactly, so he had one friend that was sound in Mort. The structure was then a good idea, but when he then had to hire people for it, and therefore put more of his friends in the job, the rest of them were all morons.

Just hope that he eventually just accepts that he can hire people that he doesn't necessarily know, and they'll do a much better job than his dumb friends.

  9. Sissoko man ... has to be in a side with a good umber of technical players that can get him into dangerous positions, and make up for his lack of technicality.

Reminds me a bit of Ramires at Chelea, who was so awful technically, especially when he first arrived. It's funny because for a while they tried to hide him out wide too.

Ramires hos improved bit by bit though, as he is at a professional club, and also as he has a good amount of quality around him, it makes up for what he lacks, and he can just be dynamic out there, and kind of run amok.

I am worried about Sissoko. Under Pardew he will only get worse and aorse i fear.

Ramires was having trouble adapting. He was a class player and I told you all so back then already. He was hopeless though that season  I do agree with you though, under better management he'll succeed.

Thing is even then I loved Ramires, and I love Sissoko too, because they have so much to work with, they just need a bit of direction and need to have the right players around them.

For example, If you played Sissoko in a three man midfield with Anita and Marveux, with Gouffran, Remy and Ben Arfa in a forn three ahead, i guarantee he would look a lot better.

There's just more pace and technical ability there, that would allow him more space, and mask some of his errors.

You play him alongside Tiote, or in a side with Shola? And welll ... it's just too much too bear, as they will all just make each other look worse.

  11. Ah man, imagine having a good manager that helps develop players. Santon could be so good with some decent coaching.

Tbf a determined like Cabaye did improve.

Hmmm ... not sure I believe that at all. I honestly believe Cabaye was always that good, just needed to get used to the pace of the league. I would venture to say that he would have shown even more, in a team that was setup better to attack, than Pardew will ever manage.

  12. Anita and Santon were pure garbage. Both completely overwhelmed.

Anita will be okay, no surprise he struggled really, he needs another quality midfielder in and around him.

Santon on the other hand?! That dude is one effeminate mofo. Send his mum and her meatballs back to Italy if she's still there molly coddling him, and get him to grow some damn balls. What a soft sorry man he is, with his pansy blonde streaks in his damn head. Disgrace of a man.
