So happy for the boy Xisco. Fantastic for him. Absolutely awesome.
Good to hear Gonzalez has looked decent too. Maybe that will change Keegan's stupid mind.
COME ON!!
-
Ashley make your booty go dene dene ...
Keegan make your booty go dene dene ...
Houghton make your booty go dene dene ...
Gol gol gol gol gol!!!
-
is this what you wanted ashley? wise over keegan?
f***ing idiot.
Keegan didn't have to walk away after 3 matches. He had that choice. You know we didn't sack him, right?
Everyone involved should hang their heads in shame, including Keegan.
Precisely.
Stupid behaviour from all involved, and they've all lost sight of the most important thing as they have chased their own agendas.
Anyway ... what's Nacho looked like?
-
At least Houghton is making the right change pretty early on.
Shola is a bloody disgrace, an absolutely infuriating waste of space.
but he choose to start him
Yeah that was a mistake, but at least he's sorted it out without leaving it ridiculously late.
Just absolutely ridiculous all of this.

Let's go Nacho.
Get this team playing and lets kick these doom mongers in the freakin' nuts.
Losers.

How gutless are our players? You can only laugh really
As for the fans who have gone all the way to the game only to protest and not support the team, to hell with you all.
Totally erased our half decent start to the season now. Just great.
Yet there are idiots like Decky who are getting off on the protests rather than what is happening with the team. Prick.

45 MINUTES PLAYED AND XISCO STILL HASN'T SCORED!!1 DISGRACE. ANOTHER LUQUE!
Absolutely pathetic isn't it.
Watch him score a couple now.
-
NACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Nacho Libre will come on to save the day fellas don't worry about it.
Bring Nacho in and play him in behind Owen and Xisco and we'll eventually score 4.
Relax my brethren, relax ...

Butt is disgusting.

Owen is so much better in the hole. We really need to persevere with this formation.

Bramble

I think 4-4-2 with just Owen and Xisco would have put a bit too much pressure on Xisco.
I prefer it the way it is. Shola can do the dirty work as the target man and Xisco can have a bit more freedom, with Owen sneaking in from deep.
I'm feeling quite confident.

I believe Hughton has picked the best possible team today.
Bassong at LB, N'Zogbia LM 4-4-2, no Ameobi?
I think that would have put a bit too much pressure on Xisco.

I love the team picked. Nicew job by Houghton.
Shola is less of a liability as a front three. I think if he struggles it won't hurt us as much.
Owen will be his most dangerous in that deep role, and Xisco can just utilize his pace and power to his best effect.
The only change I would have made was maybe Bassong alongside Colo and Taylor at right back.

Remember the guy that tore up his platinum ticket!

This is pretty embarrassing, but it's the only thing that can return everyone's sanity, as people have been unbearable over this whole thing.
How schizo is Keegan
for goodness sake. If this is about him returning then whatever happened couldn't have been that bad surely. Goodness me.

It's like when you and your girl have a big fight and she stays at a friends house for a few days then you talk it over and everything's back the way it was. Oh and the make-up sex is fantastic.Keegan being lumped on at all bookies

How crazy is this club? It couldn't happen surely.

Tomorrow will be very interesting.
I think there will be an effort made to communicate with the fans tomorrow.
We'll also just have to keep an eye out for Zico, Terim or Deschamps etc in the stands.

There is only one man for the Job, and everybody knows it. Alan Shearer. It will never be "the right time" for him to take the plunge into management, but for us it is exactly the right time. He is the only one who can put some pride back into NUFC, and the club should do everything in their power to get him, including giving him total control of transfers, and we as fans should make as much noise as possible to make it happen.
How f***ing great would Shearer and Keane stood toe to toe again on derby day be.......
Embarrassing.

Deschamps not approached?
Oh for goodness sake!
Well at least that likely means Oliver's article is a bunch of crap, which is likely a good thing.
I'm not that convinced by Deschamps for some reason. Other than the fact he's French, what makes him the outstanding candidate? Hardly like he's had a long, successful career, he's fairly green just like the other two. How long was his spell in English football?
He has managed two top clubs in Monaco and Juventus tbf.
Champions league final too.
Not a whole lot to go on, but it's still more experience than Poyet and Ince.

Well at least the three people in contention are people that are well known by the rest of our team. I think this is going to prove to be vitally important, as we cannot afford another breakdown like we have just had.
Not only is Didier Deschamps the most highly qualified, and most experienced, he is also free and available, and showed interest last time around.
Let's try and do the right thing here.
No matter what though, I'm backing whoever is brought in regardless. I'm willing to give the manager a chance to at least prove himself no matter who it is.
-
Acuna was a good little player at least.
Also Wise doesn't scout players, so please don't give him that kind of credit, Vetere is obviously the one with the knowledge of players.
Thanks for pointing that out. It seems people just prefer to convince themselves otherwise.

The most promising thing about Xisco is that he has been involved throughout, and despite missing some chances early he has stuck with it and got his reward.
Signs of a strong character, and by God do we need some players with that.
