Yes, absolutely. The whole environment just seems really good for learning and development at the minute. And we also have a number of first team players that are top pros and great characters.

I imagine deciding what type of striker to bring in and at what cost, was going to have some impact on the spending in other positions. Now we've moved decisively on this, hopefully we see other decisive movement regarding the first team now.

Think Murphy is ahead of Miggy as a backup now, personally. He was pretty productive last season. He's also younger and cheaper.

Man United have just signed two younger strikers the past two seasons, and have done a poor job of nurturing young attacking talent lately. Strange decision.

Gallagher is a good player, that just isn't the most pleasing on the eye at times. Think he'd fit in well at Simeone's Atletico actually.

I think Howe rates him really highly and it is again more evidence that he wasn't brought in as a squad player. I doubt he would have agreed to join as a squad player in the first place, and that salary if accurate is further evidence that he is seen as a first team player.
