What a pass from Wharton again. No idea why Vicario doesn't come out for it

Lovely ball. Lovely finish. Nice Wharton and Strand Larsen connection.

Qualifying for the Conference League would be great for Osula. Would start him in all of those games early on. In fact if we qualify for it I'd keep Neave, Park, Salia, Shahar, Sanusi and Cordero around and give them good opportunities in the early rounds of that competition, mixing them in with some of the more established squad players.

Considering he has Hall supporting him and overlapping down that left side, I find it very surprising he isn't able to find more space to be more of a threat. The last few games, outside of Qarabag, hardly anything has come down that left side. A big fuss was made about him playing on the left, but it hasn't really made a difference so far. He doesn't really make the sort of gaffes that stick out like Elanga's and so avoids the same level of criticism, but in truth he isn't as involved in the games or as much of a danger at the minute. Could really do with his goal threat too, with Gordoon upfront, who isn't a natural goal scorer. Hope he figures it out in the upcoming games down the stretch.
-
Not necessarily. He'll get a an opportunity to stake his claim starting games the rest of the way now I imagine. However, I think they'll also sign another keeper good enough to challenge him once the summer window comes around.

Would love it if that result throws the cat among the pigeons and they turn against Carrick and it all goes pear shaped the rest of the way. Think he's done well to get the results he has with that midfield which is just so incredibly pedestrian. Find it quite amusing that he's now being criticized for performances, considering the garbage Amorim was serving up. Think the central midfield options are too inadequate to really get that team playing, and they just needed to be setup well enough to get results like he's been doing, and he's now getting stick for it. Good. Let it continue. Hope it throws everything off for them.

Think the deal for him will get done along with another younger goalkeeper prospect to challenge him. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-make-20m-aaron-33533217

That's a great angle. Love the way he takes off so aggressively after playing the ball to Trippier, and Trippier sees it and gets that ball forward well ahead of him which was great. Osula actually did well to keep that ball in too, hence the stumble. Such a great sequence.

He put many of his crosses on Chris Wood's head at Forest, whilst taking their set pieces also. He'll get enough of those right. When he has this season the players through the middle have mostly failed to make the most of them. Just needs to keep improving his general play which was good yesterday, and keep stretching the opposition with his runs in behind and exploiting that space as that is such a useful outlet and gets the opposition turned around.
-
Yeah. Even when he has a few gaffes he has still seemed a threat as he's always in and around the action going forward. Because of this he has seemed to be more of a danger than Barnes recently, who has somehow disappeared. Not really involved enough at all or causing the opposition problems.

Genuinely think Spurs are going down now. Can't believe both West Ham and Forest are now within a point of them. The downside of this Villa collapse would be Liverpool getting into the top 5. Really want them to miss out and so I think I'd rather Villa hold on tbh.
-
Spurs are in serious trouble man.
-
At least he even got into position to attempt the crosses. Wish Barnes could manage that at the minute.
-
Really good tonight. Did so well in the lead up to the penalty and slotted it away as usual. Well done man
-
Yes, I really hope this was a conscious thing they've been working on. Defenders are standing off him and showing him inside so much. Thought he did really well coming inside and combining well with other players. The final third stuff will come. Just needs to continue to improve using the ball and getting into good positions like he did.
-
So satisfying he's performed like that against Froggy's boys in a game we've ended up mugging them off. Perfect.
-
The way the clip ends with Carrick at the end
-
It's so unbelievable that he wins that back so deep sprints all out that far forward and then manages to pull that off at the end of it all. Just incredible really.
-
Thought he was going to cost us the game all match and he ended up winning it with his defending at the end and then quickly getting the ball forward to Osula in space. Unbelievable turn around. Very very impressive stuff
-
Unreal turnaround from Trppier in that match. His play at the back at the end there and Ramsdale pulling off that save from Zirkzee were huge moments.
-
Keep saying this man is a right sided wide forward. Always looks so dangerous when he gets the ball down that side and stars going at players. Seen that exact sort of goal or coming close from him in that position a few times now. Could do with seeing him in wide positions more often.
-
Hopefully that disgrace also sends Man United into an almighty downward spiral. Hold that Cunha, Mbeumo and Sesko you clowns!
-
Well for once that was all worth sitting through. My God ... I'm shattered So incredibly satisfying that result. Could really give the team an almighty boost the rest of the way now. Get in!

Tonali has to get up. He's going to add on so much more time!
