In terms of changes that could be made now, it’s a problem. I don’t think the squad is full of answers. Steve had no input in the players signed by the club during his first summer window and I can’t for the life of me see what the strategy was. Signing Joelinton for £40 million and giving him the No 9 shirt when he isn’t a centre-forward? What was the thinking there? Steve has had to try and find a way of playing and it hasn’t been easy. The key thing is getting Wilson back as soon as possible, because without him you only have to consider the numbers. Who scores goals? Miguel Almiron has looked a better player higher up the pitch, but his numbers are still poor. Allan Saint-Maximin scored against Manchester United, but it’s the same with him. Dwight Gayle, Andy Carroll, Joelinton — look at their stats, too. Newcastle’s season is the next four or five games. That’s what it boils down to.

It’s a no-brainer to have it all here! Start it 10 days later and it’ll be full houses! UEFA love coin and it’ll generate far, far, far more ticket revenue than anywhere else in Europe! Boris the bellend will be all over trying to host it to show the rest of Europe that we’ve beaten covid! It could be a fantastic summer!

Aye I listened to that, thought Woodman came across quite well (constantly referring to how shit he was as a player) and the story about Dani Osvaldo kicking him in the bollocks was canny funny. Looking forwards to part 2, as you say, hopefully more Pards stories. Watched part 2 earlier today, the story about how they all got 8 year contracts is absolutely insane. Funny at the end aswell when they all got payouts apart from Woodman Ha ha I’d love to have been sat near them in Shark Bar when Woodman came back in from his SJP meeting! He came across really well tbf!
